“Everything at your Doorstep”

There were a few things that seemed odd, no one really felt like real people lived there, yet it was billed as owned privately, the wi fi didn't work, the kitchen faucet leaked, and there was no bread knife.

Aside from this:

-The condos are nearly new, and well equipped and each with 2 car garage which seemed heated (has the furnace and water heater in the same space).

-Location is great, we recommend the W block. A good central point, town is just a short walk away across the snow and there are slopes for boogy boards next to the building if you have kids.

-The price seemed very reasonable for a place that would sleep 6 or 8 persons.

-The weather was perfect.

-No problems with street noise. The condo next to one of the two we rented had noisy neighbors (loud music) but it wasn't noticeable from the bedroom level.

Note that these condos are on three levels, entry and garage on 1, living room kitchen on 2, and bedrooms on 3, and the stairs are quite steep.

I have stayed twice in building D chalet 21, once with my husband and three kids and once for a girls weekend. I love the location near the hot tub and sauna. The decor is very cute cabin style with interesting art on the walls. The main floor layout is great for socializing and cooking dinner and then, of course, enjoying dinner. Bedrooms are comfortable and the futon in the living room is comfortable as well. The garage is a nice space where you can park or kiddos can run around, tv, sofa, foosball. Icing on the cake is that you can walk(in like a minute) to Govy General(cute little grocery store), restaurants, bars and all the little town has to offer. Love it!!

What a fabulous condo for summer fun and winter snow skiing! I have stayed here with girlfriends in the winter for a great get away and also last summer with my family. The condo is maintained very well and fully equiped with kitchen items, games and movies and flat screens televisions. The garage has a nice little game room area, too! The hidden hot tub is fabulous, too! I highly recommend this unit.

We met our two sons and daughter-in-laws for a family reunion at Christmas at this resort. It was cozy and intimate and full of fun. It snowed the entire time and the condo was well equipped for it with snow shovels, plenty of heat, and snow plowing. This was all new to us as we were from Florida. If you go in the winter, go ahead and buy chains at the Chevron station to get up and down the mountain although we walked to and from the little town easily. The condo had everything we needed to cook Christmas dinner and the store in town was friendly with what we needed. It was a memory to cherish, thank you.

Room Tip: The bunkroom is designed for children but worked out for us.

Through the Fox 12 daily deal, my wife and I bought a weekend at Collins Lake. We were lucky enought to stay in the penthouse. We brought lots of family to share the weekend with us, everyone loved the weekend. The only thing that would have made the weekend better would be MORE SNOW!!!!

We stayed here with our race team the night before the Hood to Coast Relay. Given that there was plenty of room for 6 of us in each 3rd floor, 3-bedroom condo in the South Lodge (and we were the only couple) they are plenty spacious.

The rooms are big, the views of Mt. Hood awesome and the fixtures in the condos all new. I did not have time to go to the hot tub, so can't comment on that.

The only noise I was really aware of was the logging trucks coming past in the morning. Nice place overall.

Perfect unit for 4 adults and 2 children. Terrific location. Lots of fun at Action Park. Kids loved the pool. We are from the East Coast and truly enjoyed being surrounded by beautiful mountains, trees and pristine lakes. We stayed in chalet 26, only steps from the pool. A beautifully appointed, clean unit that fit all of our needs. We would rent again.

Room Tip: We liked the bunk beds in the kids room and the door on this room making it a three bedroom unit.
