I can't speak for any other condos but ours, but I can say if you want to stay close to what this area offers, then this is the only place to stay. Large, new, clean, convenient, exceptionally well appointed. Large bathrooms, thick granite counters and heavy leather couches are not in and of themselves "must haves" but does that give you some idea of the upscale nature of this condo, with a lovely outside terrace overlooking a pond, trees, etc? Very livable and pleasant and the only option for a truly enjoyable, luxurious stay. We liked it so much we opted to cook in for two nights instead of eat out (money no object in this case). Two fireplaces: one in master, the other in great room. One king, one queen, one room with double bunk beds. Pleasant for old and young alike. Underground parking, pool, friendly staff. I'd rather be there now than the hotel room from where I am writing this! I rated room service and spa as excellent even though they don't have either simply because the ta site ordered me to and I didn't want their rating to suffer. They will, however, stock the fridge before you get there if you want...

Large spacious accommodations in the heart of Government Camp. The unit provided enough space for the the family and guests to have an nice enjoyable weekend. Within walking distance of the shops and dining at Government Camp. They Grand Lodges also provides great discounts on Skibowl Activities, which was fantastic. Nice Clubhouse with outdoor pool and sauna and a fireplace. Our timing was perfect because we also enjoyed a view of the beautiful snowfall that blanketed the mountain. It was so great and we didn't want to leave.

This place is amazing. The condos are very large and the finishes and amenities are very high quality. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need during your stay. The deck in our 3bdrm unit had a door from the living room and the master bedroom. The deck also had a storage closet and a gas barbeque.

The master bedroom is very large with fireplace, king size bed, desk dresser and night stands. The master also has a ample walk-in closet and the master bath has dual sinks, bath tub and shower.

The second bedroom is decent sized with a queen bed and has a door to the main bathroom. The main bathroom is also large with dual sinks, shower and supply closet.

There is also a laundry room with washer, dryer, laundry detergent and broom.

Each of the bedrooms has a flatscreen TV. The bath towels are extremely large. There is a DVD, CD, USB, Aux. Home theater setup in the living room.

The only things I marked down is the fact that the south lodge is close to hwy 26. The office doesn't open until 9am, so if you at going to buy your lift ticket (for a nice discount), buy it the day the day before. Lastly, the fitness center is in the north lodge and you need to get a key from the office which is inconvenient, especially since the office does not open until 9 am.

Great home away from home with everything you could want in a mountain getaway.

Thank you for sharing! It's always nice to hear what guests enjoy during their visits, as well as what areas we can focus on for improvement. We hope to see you back at the Grand Lodges and if you choose to stay in the South Lodge, be sure to ask about the recently opened fitness room located in the building!

Gorgeous accommodations! I'd call it a home away from home, but it's nicer! Fluffy towels, comfy beds, every amenity you could want. Can't wait to go back!!

First time to Mt. Hood ski areas and we enjoyed our stay at Grand Lodges, Unit 14. Location and amenities are good, love the underground parking and the unit is roomy, with a very nice kitchen and newer furnishings. Could have used some end tables and lamps in the living room- kind of sparse. Did not have the feel of the usual rental usage (in a good way). Had some complaining about uncomfortable beds, but the Master bed was fine. The staff are very nice. Have a drink at the Tiimberline, but don't get gouged by the excessive dining room prices! The best food we had was at AlpenStube at the Meadows ski area, and pizza at Ratzgeller.
