The guide was informative and interesting and we had a lot of fun doing spins and riding the river. We saw so much wildlife and he was very carefully watching so we didn't miss an opportunity to see something. He pointed out many animals and birds and he took time to make sure that we all had time to take pictures, especially of the river otters, which were so much fun to watch. We saw harbour seals, river otters, bald eagle, osprey, blue heron, egret, elegant terns and cormorants. We took the 80 mile trip and it was just right. The scenery was amazing. The stop for lunch was a pretty steep climb but they provided a bus that took people who were not comfortable/able to make the climb. We would so do this again if we have opportunity to get down to Gold Beach again.
