We stopped here at 6 pm the other night. Were greeted pleasantly by a young waitress. The restaurant is in an old school, and the atmosphere is simple but comfortable. My husband ordered the flat iron steak with Dungeness crab on top, in a merlot reduction sauce with truffle oil. His meal also came with three raviolis, asparagus, carrots and a mushroom trio, all atop a bed of wilted spinach. I had the chicken ravioli with spinach, asparagus and carrots. Both entrees were superb. The sauces were delicate but very flavorful without being heavy. The nice part of the experience is that the chef brings out each course and stays awhile at your table to chat about the ingredients, wine (he's the wine list), etc. Very pleasant. We had a nice petite syrah wine. There was a duo playing piano and bass in the corner, and playing very well. We figured our meal was a least $100 since we had two glasses of wine each, but surprisingly it came to just $71. Well worth it. We will be back for sure!
