Beautiful setting and uncrowded. Tu Tu Tun off season was well worth a visit. The service was low key but beautifully done. Breakfast was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary wine and nibbles in the late afternoon. We will return and next time stay for three nights as there is much exploring to do from here and Tu Tu Tun is the perfect place to return to at the end of the day. Make sure to enjoy their small golf course and check out Anna's by the Sea for a simple but tasty dinner at Gold Beach.

Gold Beach has a golden resort in Tu Tu Tun Lodge, named after the Tu Tu Tunne tribe of this area. We visited in early June, and the weather was perfect, with a shining river, blooming flowers, and green grass all around. The only missing ingredient was biting fish, but the resort was so lovely and the company so charming that nothing took away from our lovely visit. Dinners are served family style, so we got to know other guests, and the happy hours were fun. The lodge maintains a light-hearted and rustic feel, but the comforts are pure elegance. A very special place for a special occasion or yearly tradition.

Room Tip: We had a large suite over the dining room with a fantastic view, as well as a kitchen, and plenty of...

We arranged our stay on a spur of the moment, when we saw a prediction of lovely weather. The weather cooperated, but the lodge turned out to be the star of the trip. We lucked out and enjoyed a special wine dinner. Sumptuous! Kyle and his staff are amazing, they remembered our names; they were happy to respond to every request. Outstanding without being stuffy or fawning. By far the best place to stay on the Oregon Coast.

Room Tip: The suites have a very complete and well appointed kitchen. (In the opinion of foodie) Since dinn...

While the Lodge is out of the way, it is simply wonderful. Nothing about the place, from "Woody the Cat," to pickled asparagus and home made hummus in the afternoon with wine and cheese, to a perfect "hand mase" breakfast in the morning (the oarmeal case is not to be missed), is not less than perfecty presented. The staff expertly, yet in a friendly down-to-earth manner, executes service that makes you feel like your stay is the most important thing to them.

I have stayed in many "world class" hotels, ;odges, B&Bs around the world, but none surpass the Tu Tu Tun for service quality, excellence in decor and comfort, and a food "experience" that is simply magnificent. Kyle and his team have created an awesome space that "fits" and enhances the natural beauty of the world that surrounds it. Bravo to all.

We rented the River House with our family at Tu Tu Tun Lodge in Feb and it was fantastic, The house is great and lacks nothing EXCEPT a fireplace. They have a fabulous fireplace in the lodge though and the food at the valentine's Day dinner was great with wonderful guests. We love the happy hour with wine and appetizers. The view from River House in every room is breathtaking. Have stayed here before in the rooms but this house is to die for. Kyle has done a great job here. Great chocolate covered strawberries in our house after the Valentine's Day meal also. We had gorgeous weather and it was just lovely and so uncrowded.

Room Tip: Rent the river house if you are a family or two couples....great hot tub also

Kyle and his staff were fantastic and they made our stay unforgetable.
The service and room were impeccable and the meals were some of the best we have ever had. They thought of every little detail!
The view of the river from your bed was spectacular.
We can't wait to go back!

We only spent one night here and didn't arrive until after dark. It's a bit off the beaten track and we had some difficulty finding it in the but once we got here we were very pleased with the accommodations. We stayed in the "Wake Up Riley Creek" room, which is an upstairs room with a deck. In the main lodge we were just in time for complimentary wine and appetizers. There was a roaring fire in the fireplace which, along with the wine and small bites, offered a welcome respite. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding. Anything you could possibly want and more. We're talking home made food - even the sausage and granola was made in house. There was enough to fill up any size appetite but the quality was what stood out. We left wishing we could stay another night or two. Seems the perfect place to "hole up" and have a relaxing but pampered break.
