Stayed here for my resupply from my hike. Clean, friendly family and nice place to just sit and enjoy. Things are old decor but so clean it does not matter. Shower runs really good. Has microwave and small fridge and nice outside seating to eat diner or just enjoy the outside.

I stayed here because the lodge inside the national park was full.
It turned out this is really great place to stay.
We stayed A-frame cabin and it's more than enough for us, 2 adults and 1 kid.
Sue was really friendly and gave us great tips for sightseeing. It's just 20 to 30 minutes drive to the lake, yet this place is much affordable.
There is no good place to eat around here. You need to go to the restaurant of the park or drive down to the neaest town south side if you want nice meal.
What I liked is its small picnic area. It's very beautifully maintained and the picnic table is great for self-served meal. We enjoyed the sunset with quick dinner there in the evening we arrived.

Room Tip: A-frame cabin is good for the family with kids.

The proprietors give friendly service & lovely setting make this motel a good bet. It is so clean, it's like home. We stayed in a little chalet like cabin that is small but comfortable. There is wifi too
Highly recommend this one. The price is good, too.

We have stayed here four times, and love the clean rooms, tile floors and beautiful natural surroundings.
Heidi is warm, helpful and welcoming, She and Obie are the perfect hosts. There is a stream nearby, you are surrounded by trees and pastures, cows, horses and Elk. You are a short drive from Crater Lake, and Klamath Falls.
There is no ambient light, and it is a star-gazers paradise.

We would recommend The Aspen Inn 100%!! The room was spacious and spotless, queen bed was absolutely comfortable, the sofa bed was a nice touch as well as the microwave, refrigerator and the cute dinette set. The tile floor with the aspen leaf was a great personal touch. We had two wonderful nights! The surrounding area was lovely for evening walks watching the sunset - just amazing sunsets over pasture and mountains. Heidi...COUDOS to you, you have a wonderful personality as well as making us feel right at home! Your knowledge of the area, its trails and where to see what!

Thank you Heidi,
Larry & Mark

Having made our reservation a year in advance, we were surprised to find the facility had some new improvements from last fall.

Clean, spacious room with a wonderful night sleep. It was great to have a tile floor instead of carpet in room 12, which has two queen beds. The grounds are open and beautiful. The owner has a "senior discount" if you are over 65 years old.

This Inn is about 16-20 miles from Crater Lake National Park.

I highly recommend this facility if you are coming to Crater Lake for a visit.

Heidi at the Aspen Inn exemplifies hotel management. The hotel rooms are very clean (I rented 3 of them of famly) and the location is within 20 miles of crater lake. There are only a few very small grocery stores locally. For a grocery store you must drive 12 miles so come prepared. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room. For plates and utensils Heidi will supply them as well as a barbeque for guest use.
