Bought my husband a dinner deal for his birthday as advertised on Travel Zoo. Made the hour and fifteen trip to Forest Grove after two months. Weird when we walked in because there's no where to stand except next to people who are eating. Atmosphere was nice. A bit of a wait considering we made reservations. Starter and entrees were delicious. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Dessert yummy. Problem came when we asked to use the wine tasting part of the voucher after dinner (our waitress told us we could do that after dinner). The wine tasting is in a different room and apparently there was a large party booked in that room so we couldn't be in there, at the same time. She offered for us to return the next night but the drive is so lengthy we couldn't take that option. Felt like we could have been offered wine tasting at our table, or a simple glass of wine since it was part of the deal. Ruined what started out pretty wonderful.

The service and food was very good. The interior design and decor was done very tastefully. It was relaxing to dine there.

We have been here a half a dozen times. We have never had a bad meal. Breakfast is simple, without flaw, reasonable and comfortable. Lunch equally so. Dinner was really impressive- we had an amazing bleu cheese- crab appetizer that was truly unique, and the Salmon was prepared perfectly- there were no complaints. We also enjoyed the candied cherry at the bottom of one of the better Manhattans we've had in awhile. We have introduced guests and friends from out of town and it has never disappointed. If a drive to PDX is not in the cards for dinner, definitely try this place out. Friendly, tasty, and a welcoming environment not far from the wine country. They also have a tasting room that can host private parties.

Beautiful little restaurant settled in historic downtown Forest Grove. Great wine selection from local wineries we had Elk Cove. (Delicious) The food was excellent and 1910 is always planning some great events like we noticed they are having some great deals for valentines day. If you want fresh and filling nw cuisine you must try this place. The shopping locally is great to all within walking distance from the restaurant. Must make the trip you wont be disappointed.

We've given this place several chances and I think we're done trying. Our first visit was when it had just opened. The dining room is small, the waitstaff was AWFUL, the food mediocre and it was completely UNchild-friendly. Honesly the best thing were the bar drinks!
A year passed and we heard they made some changes, so we decided to visit again, WITHOUT kids. The dining room had been somewhat better re-organized, but at the dinner hour on a busy night there was a wait, but NO place to wait. Many couples either left or had to wait OUTSIDE! The service was better, but the food still not impressive for the hyped-up descriptions on the menu and the over-priced charges.
I'll take the Grand Lodge or Stecchino over 1910 anyday.
