Sand boarding or saucering down the sand dunes. What a great idea! It was a lot of fun to do and watch. Make sure you go in the morning and not in the afternoon, it tends to get a bit windy and sand blwoing in your eyes. Make sure you wear sunglasses!

“A unique and fun experience”
Reviewed August 26, 2012

The whole family had great fun trying out sand boarding. We decided to splurge on a lesson and our teacher got us up and sliding in no time. The teenage son with years of snow boarding had a distinct advantage but all of us had fun for an hour. Do bring water though, you get really thirsty!

Ride was fun Jeff was awesome Dunnes area a bit small but we had a great time if u r in Florence this is a must do. Jeff will go as fast or as slow as I want. I am glad they had sand googles because we needed them. Our 10 year old sat up front and had the ride of his life.

“Got Sand AND Service!”
Reviewed August 10, 2012

Sand Master Park holds the distinction of being the "World's first Sandboarding park", but that just tells their history, not about WHO they are, how they treat their customers. They are not only the "first" but they truly are the "best" at what they do. Lessons, sandboard rentals, wax included, custom sandboard sales, insider tips on sandboarding locations and all is provided with big smiles! It is easy to see that the staff is not only knowledgeable but are also passionate about what they do - sandboard. Oh, and I forgot to mention, most of the instructors hold national and international titles. If you want to go sandboarding, go see the experts at Sand Master Park - I do!

“Bad all around”
Reviewed August 8, 2012

We rented 2 boards for my kids to ride. One worked fine. The other didn't (even when ridden by 2 others). When we returned the boards and mentioned the problem, the staff member was completely rude and demeaning. These folks have no manners, nor respect for the customers who keep them in business. They have a lot to learn.

Unfortunately not everyone pays attention when we give them tips on proper waxing, location and stance. Often they assume it is the board and refuse to consider it may actually be them. Though we are happy to show them the proper way at times they may refuse the help and often resort to insults, cursing and tantrums. We are more than happy to show the customer what they are doing wrong and help them to have a better experience.
Each board has been been ridden hundreds of times by many many different people so we are well aware that they work. Might one for a second consider it may be them who are at fault and simply ask for help?
It is also best not to throw tantrums in public while a dozen people are watching, insult professional sandboard champions and curse in front of kids.
I wish you all a wonderful vacation.
