“Poor Service, Great Food!”
Reviewed July 15, 2014

The food was excellent, no complaints, despite the higher prices. The service was fair. It was not crowded, but it took a long time to get waited on. Our waiter was friendly, but there could have been more attention to our table and food order. One of the mussels in my husband's dish didn't open, so we asked for more, and they did bring more. I would go back for the food, but there are other choices nearby with similar menus.

“Don't eat at this restaurant!”
Reviewed June 22, 2014

We had the unfortunate experience of eating at this restaurant today for lunch. We were seated quickly and orders taken promptly but it was downhill from there. We were served our meals before we received our appetizer (they had completely forgotten it), one meal was prepared wrong (fried, not grilled), the halibut sand which was rubbery and almost tasteless and the kids noodles were completely rubbery and tasteless. We tried to make the best of it because we were very hungry but we all felt slightly sick after our meal. Another downside is the"all dogs welcome" policy on the patio. There were probably 15 dogs on the patio and 2 were barking incessantly - not a pleasant dining experience. We ate inside to avoid this but it was still very loud. Definitely save your money and eat elsewhere in town!!

“Dog friendly patio! Interesting twists of seafood”
Reviewed June 17, 2014

It's nice that when we travel with our pets up the beach and want a nice meal we don't have to
Keep our dogs in the car. My pets are well behaved and just Want to be we're we are. I appreciate the option and have ate here often because of that very reason. I like the food. Nothing about it is american traditional. It's a little spendy..but I'm not washing dishes after! I'm just carful on what I order

“? Feed the dogs or the people?”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

This river-side restaurant has a beautiful outside deck, most beautiful in town. However, the owner encourages dogs to come eat & drink next to the people outside. The food is not exciting, & certainly not anywhere near the best in town. Since eating here a couple of times, my husband and I now avoid the restaurant due to the food & the dogs.

“Staff and waiter took the time to make us welcomed”
Reviewed March 26, 2014

Wanting to treat my wife to something special , we stopped here because we herd the clam chowder was the best around ( right they all are the best;-) ) As it turned out IT WAS THE-BEST. We also had a pound of muscles and a cob salad what was interesting even the chicken on the cob salad was just cooked still hot and juicy not some stored away from the the fridge. The muscles were as well fresh with a wonderful sauce and plenty of French bread to soak it all up the waiter Ramiro-8 was very pleasant and lite with some jokes ,just enough to make you feel welcomed and special the rest of the staff checked often to see if we needed anything. Would highly recommend you eat here , It is on the pricy side but your not going to get the view /atmosphere / quality if you want a deal eat at fast food if you want a memory and happy tummy here it is
