We love to come here off season. The quiet, all the walking routes and clean bathrooms. Honestly the summer is too packed for us. We love the thick wooded atmosphere and privacy between spots

This is a beautiful campground close to dunes. The Ocean is a short drive away so if you are looking to walk to the Beach I’d pick a different campground. When picking your site pay close attention to the picture. Our back in site had all the hook ups next to the fire pit and picnic table which rendered our awning useless...so no place to sit in the rain. Park rangers tried to help move us however full hookups get taken up to 6+ months in advance. Our friends sites were beautiful so don’t be discouraged ...just take your time on site selection.

We went to Honeyman specifically to rent kayaks for the day. The boat concession was closed despite the warm sunny weather. So that was disappointing but I should have checked first. Lovely little lake, enjoyed the dunes.

Very large park and well staffed and maintained. We opted for a site on the outer C loop which was a nice spot with woods behind us and good distance between us and ppl next to us. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was the noise from the highway. The volunteers and nature programs they have were really a nice treat! We hiked in the woods, played on the dunes, and kayaked on the lake. We will certainly be back for future adventures!

Stayed here for two days on our way South to California. We were impressed with how nice it was, how large the park is. It has FHU or partial hook ups. It also has nice, clean bathrooms & showers & right in the area of the sand dunes.
Didn't have reservations but can be made online as well. It has tent sites as well. Easy check in & less expensive then RV parks.
We were in a travel trailer & would definitely stay there again
Fairly close to Florence, OR

We reserved this Park on on way to Eugene for a motocross event...it was at the perfect location...just 3 miles outside of Florence...I guess loop H is the only one with full hook-ups...I reserved our site at the end of December...but it seemed like we took a spot that a group of friends normally had...we only stayed one night...but the hubby said it felt like we were living among a bunch of hillbillys...the site next to us and across from us had clothes lines out with clothes hanging and tarps galore...hiding their sites...they had friends showing up all night long...(I hope they were friends)...we did enjoy the hiking up the sand dunes...

This is a wonderful place for families to go. It's got a really nice lake, and the dunes are right there. The park is very well maintained and clean. The Jr. Ranger program was fantastic and they have lots of educational stuff that the kids can do.
Only downside was that the sites are on the small side and they allow people to come and go from the park at all hours of the night. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
