This was the 3rd time spouse & I have stayed here. The rooms are smallish & are more expensive if you want of view of the river, bridge, & Old Town Florence. Relaxing on the private balcony with a view is a real treat & we always pay to do so, even though we lived only a few miles from Florence for years. The complimentary full breakfast gives you plenty to eat for a day's activities, with omelets made to order. Staff is courteous & check in/out efficient.
I have two concerns. The carpet in our room needs to be replaced or deep cleaned; it's badly stained & reflects poorly on the overall high quality of the property. The pool/spa is down four flights of stairs near the lobby, so anyone with mobility concerns can't use them. That's just wrong.More
