When we checked in, we were greeted by Aliitasi Tupua as though we were favored members of her family! She made us feel warmly welcomed and as though we were the most special people in the world to her! (We had occasion to see that she treated all guests equally as warmly as she had us, but that did not lessen the impact of her welcome in the least!)

We had a fantastic room with a gorgeous view of the Florence bridge and across the river to Old Town Florence. The room was very clean and nicely appointed with thick fluffy towels and the bed was very, very comfortable.

In the morning, we enjoyed a fantastic hot breakfast that was included with the stay. Cooked to order omelets, plus all the usual breakfast items including biscuits and gravy! Excellent!

We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Florence -- or anywhere for that matter!

I travel a lot for business. I took my family to this hotel for one night during spring break. Fantastic hotel. Great views, great amenities (pool, sauna). The best all-inclusive, custom omelet breakfast of any hotel I've been to. That saved us at least $50 with four people. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Only hiccup was that Wifi got overloaded sometimes.

I would highly recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. I can't imagine there's a better facility in Florence for the price.

We arrived late on a Saturday afternoon for check-in and headed straight to our room. It was a rather cold and blustery day in Florence so you can imagine my pleasure upon entering our room to discover that the heat was already on. What a nice gesture on a cold day.

The room was large, dominated by a great big king bed covered with pillows - they do not skimp on pillows. All the amenities were there and everything felt clean and fresh. Good air. The small balcony had a great view of the river although this particular room also had a view of another building's rooftop - not exactly a pretty sight. The room was easy to darken, and very quiet unless someone was right outside the door. Water pressure was good, hot water was quick and plentiful, but the bathroom sink drained pretty slowly after a few little bit. I'm not sure the air vent in the bathroom actually worked - we experience a large steam buildup in the room as we showered, and had to use towels to wipe off the mirror, multiple times.

I mentioned the cleanliness already, but there was a spot of what appeared to be mold or mildew on the ceiling above the shower. Aside from that spot the room was fine.

The complementary breakfast was really first class - tons of choices for hot and cold dishes, even fresh omelets made to order. The breakfast space offered a great view of the river and Hwy 101 bridge - it wasn't tucked away in a basement somewhere like some places I've stayed.

All in all a very comfortable place; I'll stay there again when in the area.

The only downside to our stay was the overly-eager cleaning crew. They were knocking on our door at 10am although they had to know we'd be checking out at 11, and they should have known that we han not yet left.

Room Tip: Get a room overlooking the Suislaw River if you like a view.

Our room was upgraded to a king due to off season vacancies, the breakfast in the am was great and included an omelette. Pool area was clean, as were the two jacuzzis. We will stay here again for sure.

Desperately needs maintenance. Room wasn't that clean, had several problems with hot water and staff originally gave us a key into a room already occupied. Breakfast was gross and poor quality of everything... old fruit salad, etc. Would never stay here again. Staff was nice but something needs to be done since the place is rundown.

Room Tip: Make sure you check the room first for heat and hot water and cleanliness and maybe negotiate a pric...

Dear Joni R:

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback regarding your stay. We are, of course, very sorry that your stay was not perfect. We read these reviews and take them very seriously. During our morning staff meetings we will discuss what could have been done in this situation to make your stay better. Our staff prides themselves on not only providing the best customer care possible, but keeping our rooms well maintained and ultra clean. Also, our guests tell us often, that our breakfast is by far superior to most hotels they visit, but nonetheless we appreciate that something went wrong during your stay and we need to look at it carefully.

Thanks again for helping us to improve and we will continue to work to be the best on the Oregon Coast. Happy Travels!

The staff at this hotel go above expectation ensuring your stay is memorable and comfortable. We had trouble cancelling for the first night (our babysitter fell through) and normally you have to go throught the 1-800 number but since there were complications, Dee at the front desk had made the process easy and ensured there were no cancellation fees. She was friendly and professional. Then upon arrival, we were welcomed with smiles and prompt service. Dee was very personable and very helpful with all our questions! Our rooms were furbished with clean and updated features. I loved the fact that the bathroom was modern with granite walls, tile flooring, and a nice big mirror. The view from our balcony was absolutely wonderful, especially at night when you can see all the lights from Old Town and the bridge reflecting on the river. This is definitely not the last time we will be staying here! =)
