A very comfortable motel in fantastic location. An older motel, but exceptionally clean, comfortable beds, and updated bathroom. Traveling from WA to NV and used Trip Advisor to find a place for the night. Excellent value for price.

Was nice surprise to find a clean motel, right downtown that was dog friendly. Bed was very comfy. Had nice Tv.frig.shower.room was all set up. The motel has beautiful flowers and landscape that is keep up. Felt safe to stay and park here. We drove to the bike trail that goes from one end of town to the other. met a nice local women that rode with us to a great restaurant world cafe in her neighborhood. Next time I may stay on outskirts of town, I prefer the country feel, not much of city person. staff was friendly.

Room Tip: Our room was quiet,on the ground level

The Timbers is right downtown, across from the bus station and walking distance to many fine eateries. The motel is distinctive in that the rooms are large and have lovely wood interiors. They are clean and relatively quiet (given the location) and the front desk folks are friendly and helpful. Minimal continental breakfast in included. Highly recommended.

Timbers was a great find: close to everything and a great price. Even though it is an older motel, the owners have upgraded the bathrooms. The rooms have beautiful hardwood floors. The shower was wonderful...great pressure and steady temperature. The outdoors is beautifully landscaped. The beds were comfortable, and it was quiet at night. The tariff was half the price of the nearby Hilton, and we were able to walk to a nice restaurant. There were many to choose from. We walked to the Amtrak station the next morning to board our train.

We spent 3 nights at this comfy older motel and were delighted with our experience there. Great friendly staff who made an effort to be helpful in every possible way. Nice plantings break up the monotony of the parking area. Clean, high ceilinged room (second floor) was quiet and removed from the street traffic. Large, comfortable bed. A somewhat strange bathroom layout but functional nevertheless. Although "breakfast" was offered, it was pretty minimal but good coffee shops are nearby. We'll be happy to stay at the Timbers when we return to Eugene.

Room Tip: Second floor rooms have a high ceiling and are probably quieter (above the parking lot and street).
