Since it was a guided tour, we stayed with the docent. We did not have time to spend any great time at exhibits that interested us. The museum was closed that day which made viewing easier. We only really saw the Chinese, Japanese, and Korean art. I would have liked to have spent more time in the women's display section.

From the outside, it's hard to tell that there are amazing works of art inside. I have always loved the courtyard and their Rodin sculptures. The museum has free admission on the first Friday of each month and during home Duck football games.

Eugene's world famous scrap metal dealer has given the UO a world class museum. The Leslie Dill Exhibit, 'Poetic Visions' brought us back several times and is just one example of the continual trail of excellent exhibits being shown. No continent is left out of the museum collection and its exhibit schedule. The cost of an annual membership is quite low and the museum cafe and book and curio store are very well done. There is a pretty good supply of knowledgeable docents.

We continued our 'introduction to museum manners' spending over 2 hours here, learning and enjoying the 'finer things in life'!! The variety - from school children to the 'masters'' to the 60's & 70's to Korea to "construction" interactive examples - we flowed and were surprised when we realized how quickly the time went!

They have some very nice exhibits and have even shown a Van Gogh. I mean, this is Eugene, so to have a museum of this quality is a real boon to the area. It's located on the UO campus so parking is always an issue, but it's a beautiful campus, especially in the Spring.
