It's nice there. The wine are good. Last time I was there to eat I hot the lamb bacon sandwich. It wasn't good at all. The bacon was so crispy it snapped and the sandwich was dry like suck up your saliva dry. It's a good day night place. The your is always fun going into where the barrels are and such.

Wine tasting, dining for lunch or dinner on a terrace overlooking the Lorane Valley. Great cheff, very good wines. What's not to love about a burger top with sauted foie and pommes frites sprinkled with truffle oil?

Having been there twice, l'm looking forward to a repeat visit. The setting is stunning, especially
on a sunny day. Both visits were for wine tasting and lunch. They didn't "require" reservations
for lunch, but the second visit had a long wait for lunch - when I go again I'll be certain to make a
reservation, especially if there's a UofO home football game in Eugene. Buses bring full loads up
to the loving coast range location and it can be crowded. Food is superb and worth the prices.

But SO worth the wait.

I love going here for brunch, lunch, dinner, wine tasting and special events. I love the views, the setting, the wine club, the staff. I have taken out of town guests to this venue, including guests from South Africa and New Zealand. The prices are just a shade above reasonable, but absolutely worth it. Food is locally sourced and seasonal, so everything is fresh and tasty. It is a ways out of Eugene, but the drive is a lovely one and nothing beats the first view of the facility as you come around a bend and into the open. Always a stunner!

The original purpose for our visit was the winery's Crab and Wine Festival in the Vineyard Pavilion. It was a great experience, if a little on the pricey side. From the windows of the Pavilion we could see the Winery on the hilltop. Despite it being January and the "dead" of winter, the vineyard was beautiful... it drew us up the hill after the meal was finished. The building itself looks like a monastery -- simplistic architecture, but massive. The view is stunning and the grounds are exquisite. Still, while the appearances were welcoming, the attitude / personality of the staff was a bit stuffy. Maybe we weren't dressed expensively enough? (Wife had flats and a sweater, I had slacks and an open collar shirt without a tie or sports coat.) Maybe they are just a little too full of themselves for common folk?
