This was a very nice restaurant for our anniversary. We enjoyed the dinner. My only issue is a complaint I have with most restaurants. When there are vacant sections don't sit different groups next to each other. Leave a table empty between customers so they can have some privacy.

The Oregon Electric Station is a superb building which gives the visitor expectations of a fine dining establishment, however, whilst the prices reflect this the service, food, wine list and menu options are completely sub-standard, you will be disappointed. We will not be returning!

We went to the new Oregon Electric Station on 8/26 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The updated look is nice but that was all. Neither of us finished our dinner because it wasn't very good. The service was poor. We were very disappointed. We will be eating at other delicious Italian restaurants like Beppe & Gianni, Noli and Mazzi's in Eugene in the future.

The Oregon Electric Station - under new ownership has a long way to go. The physical remodel is nice. The staff is friendly. The drink menu is interesting. The food is not very good. We had dinner there - group of 6 all of us had the same feeling.

The marinara that is served on the side with the calamari - and as part of the lasagna is bad. It tastes and looks like tomato soup out of a can. The Kobe beef burgers - seriously - when did Kobe beef come in pre made hamburger patties. The $6 burger at Carl's Jr is a better deal.

Eugene is ready for a real restaurant. One that serves good food. This is not it.

The OES is under new ownership and was closed for remodeling for four months. It reopened in August 2014 and we waited two weeks to check it out. It is brighter with new lighting fixtures and lighter hardwood paneling. The entrance and bar is opened up. But the restaurant retains its unique railroad ambiance. The remodel is a positive. The food is an improvement. First, the tapas in the bar were excellent. The Crab cake was amazing. For dinner the staff was particularly attentive. My wife and I had a delicious and unique pasta with Alfredo sauce. We also had a very good Caesar salad. We also split a New York steak. The steak was fine and tender but nothing exceptional. All in all, we both agreed that we would come back and the new owners deserve praise. By the way, the owner, Raffi, checked on us several times and is a personable Italian man.
