A beautiful b&b nestled in the side of a mountain. Very serene and fantastic view from every turn in the Yew Suite! The owners, Mark & Beth were fantastic! Their love for each other overflows in the treatment of the guests. You instantly feel like you are right at home. The furnishings in the Yew Suite were incredible....never wanted to leave the room! The breakfast each morning is incredible.......pecan french toast, eggs, and the best skillet potatoes! Very close to King Estates and Sweet Cheeks wineries. A wonderful get away from the city. Wish we lived closer! Our only regret was we had to leave. We will return one day.

Room Tip: Yew Suite is incredible!

Our hosts, Mark and Beth were fantastic. We chose this location because it was close to Kings Estate winery which we were visiting and we wanted something close by as it would be late in the day. Don't let the long winding drive through the forest discourage you, the view of the house as you come around the last turn is worth it. The construction of the house and the furnishings and decoration is intriguing to say the least. Carvings, petrified wood, antique tools and eclectic birdhouses abound. There are 3 rooms to choose from and we had the Douglas Fir and Cedar rooms which are on the ground floor, there is also the Yew suite which is upstairs and has a much more extensive accommodation. They are about 20 minutes west of I5 if you take the exit for Creswell and the short drive is well worth it.

I almost forgot, the breakfast alone was worth the stay. Mark is an excellent cook and quite enlightening about his time in forestry in the Pacific Northwest.
