Yet another winery we found while driving across the region. Their facility isn't as big or fancy as some others, but that doesn't matter when the wine is good. Even though our bartender was busy, he still made time to chat and tell us about the wines we were trying and made us feel welcome.

“Bequtiful view”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2013 via mobile

We had a lovely time here, but I would recommend the Eugene-area wineries take a tip from others in the northwest (Dundee, Walla Walla, Pasco, eyc) and waive th tasting fee with purchase.

“Great view, terrific wine”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2013 via mobile

Off a back road this sweet winery sits on top of a hill. The lovely attendant poured wines past closing as we had arrived late. Compared to neighboring King Estates this wine is exceptional at half the price. Visit but keep it a wonderful secret.

“Great view, understaffed”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2012

It was an adventure driving up to this winery with its steep gravel roads, but once you got to the top it was well worth it with a breathtaking view and decent wine. Unfortunately there was only one girl working and the place was packed.

“Great wines plus fantastic view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2012

A group of 5 women packed a picnic and hit the wineries for the Labor Day afternoon. Sarver Winery was our first and favorite stop. The view from the outdoor patio and picnic area was the classic vineyard scene - gorgeous hills of vines, a pond, plus the addition of a view of the Willamette Valley and Cascade mountain range which took our breath away. We bought flights of 6 wines and there wasn't a one that we didn't like. Though none of us care for sweet wines, we were surprisingly fond of the Gewurztraminer. It was perfect for the warm summer afternoon, as was the Pinot Rose. The Cuvee, a blend of syrah, pinot noir and petite syrah was excellent and the petite syrah was a favorite of all. The server was generous with his knowledge and hospitality. We were welcomed to set up our picnic at the tables outside and spent a leisurely bit of the afternoon enjoying the view and the wines. I will definitely add this to my list of favorite local wineries, for the outstanding quality wines, perfect setting, and welcoming hospitality.
