“The best hotel in Eugene”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2014

For a university town, Eugene has always had a deficiency of a luxury hotel property. This one gets as close and is vastly superior to any of the other tried and true hotels in Eugene. The rooms are large, modern with a nice shower and interesting carved furniture. The bed is very good but needs fitted sheet to make it more comfortable to sleep within. My major gripe is there is not an in lobby coffee pot for early morning risers and finding a cup requires a walk outside the property. Yes there is a coffee pot in the room but no "to go" glasses.

The accommodations at this place are at a refined level and the young, attractive staff is eager to please. We had the breakfast + parking deal, which consisted of free parking ($15 otherwise) and a $30 voucher which we used for a delicious dinner at Marche rather than for breakfast.

Room Tip: As for a room on the courtyard

I went to school in Eugene over 20 years ago, and the nicest hotel was the Valley River Inn which even then was HORRIBLE. My partner and I are on a road trip from Portland to San Francisco and decided to try this hotel. Immediately upon entering staff was great, bellman was helpful, valet great, room is lovely, modern yet warm, and has art that gives you the history of running in Eugene. I am a VERY tough customer but this is a lovely property.

We really loved this hotel! Only 4 floors and very clean! It is fairly new, almost 2 years, but looks like it opened yesterday! All of the employees were very kind and helpful!
We would definitely come back!
The weather was warm, but we liked that! We drove over to the coast, the weather was 30 degrees cooler, but the drive from the Inn was beautiful!
I would highly recommend the Inn at the 5th to everyone!

One of the best hotels, if not the best, that I've stayed in and I travel a good bit. Every aspect is well designed and elegant. Perfect beds. Unique designs in each room.. If you happen to be in the Eugene area, treat yourself and stay here!

I stayed for three nights and greatly enjoyed it. Staff on arrival was very helpful indeed. I had arrived early around 11am and they went out of their way to make sure I got a room right away and they also advised me on places to go to. The rooms are nice and the place well organized. The hotel had a complimentary limo service (I was driven to the airport in a black Mercedes) and free and rather fast WiFi which is very helpful indeed. The hotel is close to shops, concert hall, pubs and bars and has some decent restaurants and wine bars in a nice and small shopping arcade next to the hotel. For the quality the price is perfectly reasonable, not very cheap but also not very expensive -- just right.

Very recommendable place. I would certainly stay there again.

This is my second time staying here and I love it. We are attached to a small shopping center with a few wonderful restaurants attached and then there's many restaurants that are really good within walking distance.
The stay couldn't be nicer and the rooms are clean and large.
One of my favorite things is they have complimentary shuttle service in the straw and to and from the airport gotta love that in a small collage town.
We already booked our stay in Sept.
