We were wandering through Eugene at about 10:30pm looking for a place to stay when we happened upon the Inn at the 5th. I remembered reading the reviews here so we stopped. The valet and front desk were both friendly and helpful.

The room was very nice, clean, and modern. The bed was divinely comfortable. Small touches like an in-room Keurig coffee maker was appreciated.
We especially loved the view of the courtyard, all lit up and decorated for Xmas, with the red furniture, and the falling snow. Just lovely!

The bathroom was spacious, and had a terrific shower. As a prior reviewer mentioned, the sliding door leaves a gap and is not soundproof, which could be uncomfortable for some.

I've been an event planner for almost 5 years and can say, without a doubt, Inn at the 5th rivals any other hotel I have ever worked with. Not only are there accommodations incredible (the owner actually hand picked the mattresses for the rooms, and all of the art is original... an eye for details means a lot) but the staff is by far and away the best I have ever worked with - both professionally and personally. If you are planning a wedding in the Eugene area (or if you're not, you might want to consider it so your guests can stay here!) or if you are just here for business, this hotel is the place to be. Fantastic location in the 5th street market area, with restaurants, shops, and a movie theater all within walking distance (not to mention the wine tasting room that is, literally, in the hotel plaza) this is what a hotel is supposed to be. Every single one of my business clients will book here, and I will recommend this to any visiting family or friends.

Room Tip: Any room will work, they are all sound proof so you won't hear anything, and no matter what one...

Its not just that this spectacular hotel is spanking brand new. Think: Intelligent, efficient and gracious [Randy and Amber at the front desk; Artur or, if you require the familiar, Arthur, as Bell Captain]; Innovative [a miniature outside door leads to a portion of the interior closet so food service trays need not wind up in the hallway]; Luxurious [four large fluffy pillows, tailored terrys, spacious walk in shower, fireplace]; Heartrate [a well equipped gym]. We highly recommend a stay when you are on your way on Highway Five.

We arrived at the inn at the fifth without a reservation at noon and received
an early arrival room with upgrade.Service was friendly and efficient.
Marche restaurant was reasonable. The nearby fifth street market has
A large selection of ethnic foods . A great stop on route 5.

My kids (ages 15 and 11) and I just got back from an awesome trip to Eugene, Oregon. We traveled there from California to cheer on our Stanford Cardinal against the Oregon Ducks -- and it helped that our Cardinal won:)! The Inn at the 5th was absolutely the ideal place to stay! As soon as we exited the airport, the complimentary shuttle (actually a car) was there waiting for us (we had reserved the shuttle with the hotel well in advance when we made our reservations). The shuttle driver was a super nice and friendly U of O student, as are many of the other drivers. When we arrived at the hotel, the square in front was full of festivity -- Christmas tree lighing, fake snow, carrolers, band, etc..... so fun. Our hotel room was clean and modern with great big shower, large TV, and warm gas fireplace, plus complimentary water bottles inside the room. One of the best bonuses of this hotel is the complimentary shuttle service, especially since taxis can be difficult to find at peak hours. Tip: reserve the shuttle ahead of time since they sometimes get booked up. If all the shuttle cars are busy, the hotel calls you a cab. Everyone working at the hotel is as nice as can be and the service is extraordinary. Campus is about 1 1/2 miles away and Autzen Stadium is as close as you can get -- a nice walk. We walked home after the football game and got there sooner than someone who would have tried to drive. We also had some great meals in Eugene. Dinner the first night at Beppe and Gianni's near Hayward Field -- new track field on campus and Knight basketball arena. The wait was over an hour so we dropped in the first half of the men's basketball game while waiting. After dinner, ice cream across the street at Prince Pucklers. For breakfast, Glenwood Inn near campus....then go walk around campus. Lunch at the food market right outside the hotel. Dinner after the game right across the street from the hotel --Cafe Lucky Noodle. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. It costs a little more than the others in the area...but is worth it!

We stayed here on a recent college preview trip and just loved our stay. Attention to detail and style is at the forefront, with fun room decor and extremely comfortable accomodations.

Great rates, but that's probably because we were off season.

Would absolutely stay here again.

I come to Eugene monthly for business and started staying in the Inn at the 5th once it opened. It's the nicest hotel in Eugene, beautiful (I wish I had the in-room bathroom in my house), comfortable, perfectly convenient location and set amongst the cutest market! The service is fantastic and also very accomodating, even if you need different pillows! I would highly recommend staying here is you're coming to Eugene, I look forward to every visit!

Room Tip: All of the rooms are equally fantastic.
