“Decent pizza, slow service”
Reviewed December 25, 2013

Not much to say. We stopped for In-n-out but they were jam-packed (holiday weekend), and this place was available. Service was slow, which we didn't really mind. Pizza was fine, but not great.

“Another Forgotten Order”
Reviewed December 2, 2013

We were looking for a hipish bistro sort of place downtown on a Saturday afternoon and selected this place based on somewhat mixed TA reviews. As other reviewers have mentioned, service at this place is quite lax. We ordered three items, a salad, the appetizer plate, and a pizza. The salad showed up and was okay, the appetizer plate showed up and was excellent, but the pizza never arrived. After waiting for a while I went back to the counter to discover that the woman who took our order and money hadn't bothered to put in the pizza part of it. We were ready to go at that point and asked for a refund on that part of the bill. That produced some confusion on the other side of the register but the refund was made.

This is a place that seems to cater to people with bad hair, lots of facial metal, and gallons of ink. Prices are rather high and you are asked to bus your own dishes. I'd give it two stars except for the appetizers which made the rest of the issues tolerable. Whoever manages this place might try drug testing the employees.

“Best Pizza in Eugene, maybe best pizza anywhere!”
Reviewed October 19, 2013

I've been eating at Mezza Luna downtown ever since they opened. I've never been disappointed. They have a huge selection with three or four special slices every day. The prices are excellent, the service fast and friendly. The owners still work in the two restaurants, which I think keeps the quality very high. Now that I live on the north side of town, my husband and I frequent the Crescent Village pizzeria and we love it. Thin crust, fresh delicious toppings, always hot out of the oven. The salads are excellent as well.

“Great Pizza and Value”
Reviewed September 22, 2013 via mobile

Mezza Luna serves great pizza by the huge slice for $3 to $3.50 a slice. We had one slice each and shared a huge "small" salad plus a great draft beer and were full. Terrific value. We sat at the counter and had fun chatting with the wait staff and watching them flip pizza dough. Popular locally and they seem to do a great take out business. A fun evening and very near the Campus Inn.

“Good But Not Great”
Reviewed September 21, 2013

Enjoyed two pizzas last night after finding Mezza Luna on TA. One Pepperoni and one Eggplant and Ricotta. Crust was cooked nicely. Sauce was pretty average. Plenty of toppings. Good pizza albeit a bit expensive for what you got. No table service. Order at the register and then pizza is "delivered" to you in a pretty small seating area of approximately ten tables. You can also purchase "by the slice". A few beers to choose from but limited. Right downtown so convenient location.
