We have eaten there fifteen times in 2012, and we are from out of town. The atmosphere is clean and Pacific Northwest; the wait staff predominantly are capable; the chef goes the extra mile to make the plate appearance interesting, and it is located near a large shopping center with a movie house. We have never been disappointed in the food, but last time had a new waitress who really flubbed up our order and no adjustment was made to our bill. We will avoid her in the future.
The seafood is fresh and there is an interesting array of choices. At least as many as we had in Hawaii a few weeks ago.

Their Asian dish was wonderful! I like the environment and the owner is so nice. I will definitely go there again.

We have only eaten here twice, but both times have been great. Although his is a casual restaurant, the service, menu, and food are always good. This is an Oregon chain and one of the flagship restaurants. The seafood is a mix of fresh and frozen, but when we have ordered the fresh seafood specials, we have always been pleased with preparation and plating. The service was attentive, pleasant and a bit on the down home side, but it fits very well with the casualness and pricing. The interior is clean and comfortable, and parking is a breeze.
If you are looking for good Oregon coast seafood, there are three or four places to eat at in Eugene. This place ranks in towards the top for preparation, taste, and sit down atmosphere. It is also very family friendly.

We were not impressed with this restaurant and would not return. The young lady that greeted and seated us was rude and short - not a pleasant way to start the encounter. When we had a chance encounter with the manager later and told him about this he did not apologize but rather said the young lady had not been feeling well lately! The implication was that it was OK to be rude to a diner if you are not feeling top notch - not very professional.

The bright spot was our waitress, Heather. She was excellent in providing friendly and efficient service. The menu is extensive and looks and feels like a chain restaurant menu. A restaurant this extensive is never a good sign as no restaurant can do a good job on that many dishes. It tells you that they have been per-prepared. In fact the final dishes had the look, feel and taste of Sysco.

One of us had the clams. That was a mistake. When presented they looked more like a clam scramble, sort of a mixture of clams and breading. They were very tough and had little taste. The side dishes were pretty common and uninspired. It also turns out they they did not have some of the ingredients for our first requested dishes and were out of our first requested wine.

If you are looking for a real fish restaurant, try someplace else.
