Excellent place to hike, with many side trails to explore. The main path leads up to an excellent picnic spot at the top of the butte. Great views from the top!

Mount Pisgah Arboretum and Buford Park are one of the very best reasons to live in Eugene/Springfield. Walk/jog/hike the Summit Trail for a good workout, especially at sunrise or sunset, or take advantage of numerous other trails for exercise, quiet, getting in shape for "real" hikes, or, if you're a resident, just a break from the day-to-day.

This is just a few minutes drive from Eugene and perfect to get into nature. Good trails along the river and nice gazebo area and facilities to rest or hang out. Free admission and just $3 to park. Recommend.

The hike up Pisgah is a little demanding, but well worth it. The views at the top are absolutely spectacular! While there, I recommend hiking through the arboretum, too.
