My son selected this campus after we viewed over 15 locations. It is well supported by the community and there is plenty to do. In his second year and loving it.

“Amazing School; Lackluster City”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 9, 2013

A typical college town with much to offer at the school. If you are looking for an amazing campus encompassed by a rundown town you're in luck!

“Great football stadium!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2013

In town for Ducks game. First time to area. Eugene seemed quaint. Didn't see campus. Autzen stadium only.
Parking was super easy. Found ample parking in neighborhood by stadium. Clearly upscale college town neighborhood that appreciates what they have in their backyard with the stadium and doesn't mind thousands of people descending on them a few weekend days each year. Walk from parking to stadium easy and quite pretty on the eyes.
Typical university/town that loves their football. Crowds outside stadium were huge. Stadium vendors outside were all friendly and extremely helpful.
The stadium itself was beautiful (from an athletic stadium perspective). Nike did it right!
Food was ample and actually not outrageous. For example, great seasoned curly fries in a bucket for $6 that seemed endless (although we pushed through to the end!).
Facilities were plentiful and clean.
Fortunate to have great 45 yard, lower level seats. Excellent view. Great game. Folks around us fairly friendly. It was pouring (literally) so neighbor talking was a minimum. We went with it. What do you do?!

Cost: More than fair compared to other college football games
Parking: Free close by (safe)
Food/beverage: Ample; good prices
Facilities: Plenty; clean
Staff: All encountered very friendly & helpful

“Great place for a walk around”

Nice college just to walk around and see campus. Walk to the stadium also or take your bikes and explore.

Autzen is the best small "big" football stadium ever! As they say at the beginning of every game "it never rains at Autzen Stadium" ... I must say it was beautiful and sunny during the game I attended. There is little or no shade except on the south side of the stadium so if it is a cloudless day bring a hat and where your sunscreen. There are many free giveaways before the game so be sure to arrive early for tee-shirts, face painting, sunglasses or any number of Duck swag items. The food offerings both in and out of the stadium are Oregon inspired and feature Dutch Bros. coffee, local brews (outside only) salmon burgers and of course the all beef hot dog.
