I'm actually from Mississippi. So, it was kind of odd to go to a football game at UofO. I wanted to take my 11 year old sports fan son. He has the best time. Being a little short, he had to actually stand on the seats the whole time just to see ( as everyone else was standing). He was beside himself. I wanted him to see the fun side of college life so he would be interested in going.... mission accomplished. He talks about the game almost everyday. It was MONTHS ago.

The UO campus is a wonderful mix of contemporary and vintage buildings surrounded by gorgeous grounds. The (relatively) small campus is within walking distance of the Willamette River and downtown, and is well-connected to Eugene's extensive bike path system. A must-see for any visitors to the city. A few highlights: The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, the Knight Library (both of these buildings have some of the best brick-work on campus), and the Native American Long House. Worth the visit!

The football game was a blast. Too bad Stanford won!
