“Nice clean rooms and accommodating managers”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2013

Over the last weekend we had a group of Historical Trail folks basing our activities out of Enterprise and stayed at this motel. It is a good value with modest prices and clean rooms. As has been said it is a motel that has been there for quite some time but is a quality place still. Earl and Jennifer, the managers have been there 8 years and were very helpful with arranging use of their good sized meeting room twice. Just a good clean motel with good sized rooms. Not all of the rooms have small fridges and microwaves (actually most do not) and that would be a suggestion for their next investment for improvement. Over all it was a great stay and place and to me it's refreshing to stay somewhere where you actually have a Key for the door! So hat's off to Earl and Jennifer and Wilderness Inn for treating us well.

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Everything in town is located within walking distance and we had an excellent breakfast just one block away. Although it seemed a little expensive, it was worth it and they have a limited season to fill the motel. I recommend staying here.

We made a quick trip through northeastern Oregon. Due to the season, and the lateness of our plans, we did not have much choice. We took the only available room with a king bed, and it was the suite. It was lovely. Although we did not use it, there was a full kitchen. The owners gave us great suggestions for a picnic dinner location, and a great breakfast. We will be back.

It's an older motel, a little dated. Large rooms, excellent shower! Plenty of room to spread out. Friendly staff. No breakfast, we rode to Joseph for breakfast.

Quiet, nice little town. More choices in Joseph for food, lodging, shopping if that's what you're looking for.

Motel doesn't look like much from the road, but room was very large and clean. Price was a little high. I would have expected a microwave and frig in the room as there was enough room for a whole kitchen! Great Mexican restaurant next door.

Very clean, large room with comfortable bed, good shower and friendly owner/desk clerk. Best part was a great view of the mountains. We actually left after the first night and then circumstances were right to return for a second. Our second floor room with the mountain view was rented but we were given the 3rd floor room with an even better view, but without a microwave. Both had a frig.

The motel is older and the price under $60. Considering this, the room was a very pleasant surprise. Everything has been upgraded and is quite attractive. With one bed, it feels like a large room with a table and chairs, a frig and microwave. It has a good shower, and a comfortable bed. The sweet desk clerk made us feel very welcome and special, as we had been the first people she had made reservations for on her first day at work weeks earlier. We would definitely stay here again. No breakfast is provided, but there are several restaurants nearby to walk to. We went to Friends, Inc. which was full of local flavor. Because one woman was the cook and the server, do not expect to hurry. But our meals were delicious. For dinner we highly recommend the authentic Mexican restaurant next door, La Laguna.
