what a lovely surprise to find the Dundee Manor House...had read about it and booked it when we began planning our trip to Oregon. We immediately loved the place upon entering through the gate of the property...David and Brad have made this a haven for people wanting to explore the Willamette Valley...they have thought of everything. Beautiful rooms, lovely property, great lawn area to sit and relax and lovely seating areas in and around the house. The 100 yr old house has been renovated beautifully and no detail was overlooked. David is a terrific host, always willing to answer questions, provide comments and offer suggestions...we so enjoyed his suggestion to dine at Redhills Provincial House...was a wonderful dinner in a lovely , romantic, quiet house with attentive service. Breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented and well thought out...Our room, although cozy and light, was a double bed and share bath, I was probably informed of this but let it "go right over my head", be sure and question this when booking...next time, as I told David, we will book one of the other rooms...but in the end, we enjoyed the space and didn't mind the double bed at all!!! Can highly recommend this great property!

I keep returning to The Dundee Manor, because it simply can't be beat! You'll find relaxation, charm, decadant and lovingly prepared breakfasts, five star accomodations and hosts that will "wow" you with their knowledge of the "secret places" to visit in the beautiful area of the Oregon Wine Country!

As a female COO of a large national company, I've traveled extensively nationally and internationally, staying at (company paid) 5 star accomodations and this is Five-Star without the Five- Star price.

Treat yourself, over and over, to the Dundee Manor!!

We would highly recommend the Dundee Manor B&B to any of our friends and family. Brad and Dave were excellent hosts from the minute we arrived. The house was very relaxing and the gourmet breakfasts were amazing. We really enjoyed sitting by the fire pit in the gazebo admiring the Christmas lights that Brad and Dave worked very hard on. This is a great location for wine tasting. Portland and the coast are also a short drive away. The Inn keepers made sure we tried the best of everything, from the vineyards to the restaurants. The beds were so incredibly comfortable, as were the rooms. We also enjoyed the company of the other guests that stayed at the B and B. We stayed in the Asian room, and the views are amazing. Great food, great company, peace and quite. We will definitely return.

I had a party at the Dundee manor for my wife’s 40th birthday last summer and while we had a good time the owners were not professional with our guests and there was plenty of attitude. I rented the manor and had the owners handle the party arrangements (catered, wine, etc) and while the food and wine were great the owners caused a tense night. I was clear about the expectations prior to booking so this ended up being an unexpected experience. As the night progressed, more and more guests came up to me and told me what the owners were saying about how much we paid and that it was too loud, etc. I've been to many parties and ours while we were having a good time it was not even close to out of hand (actually a nice controlled party). At 11 pm however, the music was turned off because the police might come (forget that they are on 5 acres), they increased the derogatory comments until people just left. It turned what was supposed to be a great evening for my wife into something that our friends comment continually and so I felt I needed to post this review.

I would recommend as a bed and breakfast but the owners are far too inexperienced to host a party of more than 12.

It has taken a few months to mull over this review- and if we would reply or not. First we would like to Thank you 9999 for you taking the time out of your busy day to share. This being our 4th season we are constantly endeavoring to perfect our offerings. From this we have learned that we need to make our contracts more pronounced and spelled out for the events. We are happy tha during the 5 months of preperation- Restaurants-Wine Tours-Tasting - lunch times -wine selection and catering offerings we were able to assist. As always with all our functions we attempt to detail everything as the Manor has become to be known for.
We hope that on you next trip you will stop by for a visit and a chat- Best to you for 2009- and again Thank You!

My wife and I spent two lovely nights at the Manor and explored the local wine country from that base. Within walking distance is the Winderlea Winery which produces exquisite pinot noirs. The location is perfect for touring the area's vineyards.

David and Brad were wonderful, caring hosts. They always had time for our questions and provided meaningful advice for our travels. Brad is quite the chef and each morning he prepared a gourmet breakfast - delicious! The rooms and overall house are elegantly decorated to provide for warmth and comfort. Our room was spacious with a nice flat screen TV. The grounds of the Manor are idyllic and beckon to guests to stroll or simply relax in the gazebo.

We highly recommend the Dundee Manor with all its amenities.
You won't do any better in the area.

My husband and myself spent two wonderful nights for our 40th anniversary at the Dundee Manor. This wonderful Bed and Breakfast is in the heart of the Willamette Valley Wine country in Northern Oregon, just south of Portland.
Our hosts and the owners of this charming inn are Brad and David.
From the moment we entered the lush grounds, we knew we had found a treasure. The Bed and Breakfast sits behind lovely wrought iron gates on beautifully kept grounds which include many areas to sit, relax and enjoy together the lush setting.
Our room was the "Africa" theme room. It was decorated beautifully, tastefully and elegantly. The bed, which I always find extremely important, was wonderfully comfortable and plush. Every night there were chocolates on our pillows, the linens turned down, fresh fruit, cookies and other treats. Nearby our room was a room designated for guests to use if they so desired, which contained a wonderful assortment of books, videos, and DVD's for their enjoyment after a full day of wine tasting and delicious dinner!
Brad and David, the owners and innkeepers of the Dundee Manor, made us feel right at home from the start. We had fun in the mornings watching Brad in the kitchen create the beautiful and delicious breakfasts that he prepares for the guests while sitting around his island watching him cook before sitting down to eat in the beautiful dining room. Every meal had his artistic flair in its presentation, while being absolutely scrumptous!
Both Brad and David are completely knowledgeable about the areas many wineries, and will happily customize a tour for your needs and likes plus will make your reservations for you at one of several wonderful local restaurants after a delightful day of "winery hopping".
This Bed and Breakfast is a MUST for anyone wanting elegance, comfort, and excellent food while enjoying the the warm welcome and care of the wonderful owners, Brad and David!

We found this place on Trip Advisor, and all reviews are consistent with what we experienced. Brad and David bought this house a couple years ago and have restored it. Each room has an international flavor/theme with the art and collectibles they have gathered from their travels. The house is about 7500 square feet with extensive grounds. We spent one day in the gazebo reading and napping. When the weather is nice, breakfast is on the patio and we enjoyed our gourmet feast there both days. Brad and David are also the best in terms of "concierge" services forging many relationships with the local wineries and restaurants. They made reservations for us at The Painted Lady and the following night at the Dundee Bistro--both excellent! They also gave us great directions for wine tasting. 'Can't wait to return.
