Found this little bistro on Trip Advisor and decided to give it a try while staying in the Dundee area. It was a great decision because the cheese burger and truffle fries we had were outstanding. This was not fast food, but rather a gourmet burger and some of the best fries I've ever had in the entire country and together absolutely worth the $14. Wine and martini were both good as was the service. Dundee, OR is not a very large town and dining appears to be quite limited so this place is worth your time even if you only try the burger. I can't speak to the other menu items, but if they are half as good as the burger you can't go wrong eating here.

We had an excellent dinner here a couple of years ago, so decided to stop in for a late lunch after visiting a couple of wineries before returning to Seattle. The beet and smoked salmon appetizer was a bit disappointing. My wife had the port tenderloin, which was dry. She attributed this to being being butterflied, but the veggies and sauce made up for it. I had the pasta with chicken sugo, which was excellent. Good choice of wines by the glass to. Good casual choice in Dundee.

The Dundee Bistro of course sits in the middle of Oregon wine country and offers a great selection of local (and other) wines.

I visited mid-week for a late lunch. There were only a few other diners in the restaurant. On arrival, we were pleasantly greeted and seated promptly. The restaurant is relatively casual with high ceilings, light-toned wood furniture and a partially open kitchen. There was a fireplace burning. I'm not sure what the environment would be like when the restaurant is full of guests, but on this quiet afternoon it was inviting, warm and very relaxing.

Our server was pleasant, soft-spoken and capable.

I had Tagliatelle with truffle butter, sprinkled with a little finely grated parmesan. The pasta was perfectly cooked, subtle and only a little rich. My mother had a salad. The ingredients seemed very fresh and flavorful. We each had a glass of local wine. As it turned out, the two glasses of wine cost more than the food items - not a bad thing.

We had a leisurely and very enjoyable meal - overall a great experience.

Went to Dundee Bistro at 8:05pm on a Thursday night. Even tho they had several tables with guests and their posted closing time is 9pm, they had decided to shut the kitchen down! In my world, when someone drives 20 minutes to eat at your restaurant within the times that you publish, you better be open or they won't be back. Even worse, they will post a snarky review on TA and tell the world......Just saying

My wife shares her birthday with a good friend and every year we search out a new spot to celebrate. This year it was the Dundee Bistro. The restaurant is open seating but not crowed and the staff is very good, with recommendations and patience. The fresh pasta was excellent. The primary reason for going is the wine list. The restaurant shares space with the Ponzi tasting room the wine list is very impressive. If you want to sample some of the Best that Oregon has to offer, they have it. Make sure you save room for the chocolate cake.
