Description: Tinas opened in October 1991. The restaurant, which seats 55 guests, has a comfortable bar, and the two intimate dining rooms are divided by a fireplace. Like many of our fellow chefs, we believe that the best food is organically grown. Our search for these foods led us out of the city and into the countryside where we work closely with a great group of farmers. We're closer to the source of what goes onto your plate, and we believe that the opportunity to cook in a wine growing region lends our food a context and flavor and experience that is unbeatable. The menu is based on the foods that our farmer/neighbors grow: seasonal, and regional. Most of the wines that we feature come from just down the road. We are committed to using the best ingredients, and our menu changes as we move through the seasons of the year. Under New Ownership since June 13, 2015, Tina's continues to be a Wine Country Standard, not to be missed. Long time, veteran employees Dwight McFaddin (22yrs), and Michael Stiller (14 years) and their wives have re-energized the Restaurant and have lured back Chef Norma Buchholz (6 yrs) to create a new environment based on all that is best about Tina's and the Wine Country of Yamhill County.

“Excellent food and wines to be enjoyed”

The food, wine and experience is always top-notch. We love this venue for our 'date nights'. Local wines with many excellent persons to meet at a neighboring table, often exchanging wines, fun.

“Always a winning choice”
Reviewed August 19, 2014 via mobile

This place is rock solid every time. The service is impeccable from reservation thru "thanks for dining with us". The food is consistently beautifully presented, incredibly delicious, perfectly timely and highly memorable. We shared salmon egg roll, corn soup, house salad and the salmon entree. All were outstanding and the portions were perfectly ample for us. Yummy.

Can't wait to go back.

We had late lunch here after wine tastings. The prawn risotto was excellent as was the short rib tacos. The service was good but the decor is cozy and comfortable. You definitely get a great meal and a good price.

Other reviews left us w/ high expectations. The service was nice--not pushy, attentive but paced for a leisurely meal. The salmon roll appetizer was good, nice amount of salmon, but the hazelnut sauce was a mismatch for me. The special sturgeon was cooked & plated nicely, but too salty. My short ribs were fork-tender w/ a nice sauce, kale was cooked well, but bottom of bowl too oily and salty. Wonderful wine list, though, with so many Oregon Pinots to choose from. Believe there's potential for a great meal. Perhaps will return next year.

“Ambient, romantic quiet”
Reviewed August 6, 2014

Service was outstanding, menu was nice. Chinook salmon was crusted in waaay too much salt; husband had very nice beef tenderloin though. The pan fried oysters were unbelievably fabulous and a full selection of local wines to boot! Exterior definitely does to do it justice.
