Description: Tinas opened in October 1991. The restaurant, which seats 55 guests, has a comfortable bar, and the two intimate dining rooms are divided by a fireplace. Like many of our fellow chefs, we believe that the best food is organically grown. Our search for these foods led us out of the city and into the countryside where we work closely with a great group of farmers. We're closer to the source of what goes onto your plate, and we believe that the opportunity to cook in a wine growing region lends our food a context and flavor and experience that is unbeatable. The menu is based on the foods that our farmer/neighbors grow: seasonal, and regional. Most of the wines that we feature come from just down the road. We are committed to using the best ingredients, and our menu changes as we move through the seasons of the year. Under New Ownership since June 13, 2015, Tina's continues to be a Wine Country Standard, not to be missed. Long time, veteran employees Dwight McFaddin (22yrs), and Michael Stiller (14 years) and their wives have re-energized the Restaurant and have lured back Chef Norma Buchholz (6 yrs) to create a new environment based on all that is best about Tina's and the Wine Country of Yamhill County.

“Delightful find while visiting vineyards”
Reviewed August 9, 2013

Tucked in a little side restaurant in Dundee quite near several vineyards is a gourmet restaurant called Tina's. We had a delicious lunch and were surprised at the quality of the restaurant and the extensive wines offered. Although the menu is limited, there was something for everyone in our party of three. I had a delicious grilled eggplant sandwich and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is pleasant and accommodating with friendly service.

“Tasty; Unique; Fresh!”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

Tina's was our favorite restaurant in wine country. Our visit started with a "break" from Pinot Noir, sipping a delicious vodka martini made with Oregon's very own Ransom Dry Vermouth. What a surprise! The Mozzarella Bruschetta and Rosemary Chickpea Frites are wonderful for sharing, and loaded with flavor.

The menu changes constantly based on what they can source fresh locally, so go with the flow! We enjoyed BRAISED BEEF SHORT RIBS and FENNEL POLLEN CRUSTED PORK CHEEKS; who knows what they'll be serving when you arrive. The wine list, heavy on Oregon Pinot (duh!), includes a number of old favorites, "off-the-beaten path" surprises, and single-vineyard offerings at reasonable prices (relative to other restaurants). Overall, we thought the entire experience was a good balance of price-to-value: it's not an inexpensive place, but for the quality, selection, and freshness of the preparations, we thought it was excellent.

Service, while a little spotty (they were busy - AND lost our reservation) was still better than most places, and they accommodated us even though they didn't acknowledge the lost reservation. The bartender (while we waited) was exceptional. We left happy and with a new "favorite."

“Overpriced”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Very small, service is poor at best and extremely small portions. We were visiting wineries in Oregon wine country and happened across this restaurant and wished we hadn't stopped. It was poor at best. The menu is very limited, entrees are served in large plates with very little food. Over spiced! We would certainly not return.

“Unique experience!”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

First of all, the food was fresh, interesting and delicious. But, what we loved the most was observing the service. Our waiter (I believe he might also be owner) served as the host, waiter, bartender, and busboy for the entire restaurant - and did an exceptional job. Equally amazing, there were only two people working the kitchen - a young teen and a woman. How they prepared, cooked, and cleaned all of the meals is a mystery to me. The experience is well worth your visit. Did I mention, the food is fabulous, as well

“Locals Choice And For Good Reason”
Reviewed July 6, 2013

Certainly Tina's is a local's place. Many of the patrons seemed to know one another and the staff. Regardless, we were made to feel very welcome and were given a very nice table in the front window. Began the meal by stating that I had tasted sufficient wine during the day of wine touring. Our waitress suggested an excellent locally brewed beer that kicked off the evening nicely. We enjoyed an appetizer of Polenta Fries that were very unique and followed that with soup and our main course. Main courses included Pork Cheeks that had been slow cooked. These were excellent as were the accompaniments. Additionally, had the braised short ribs which were very well prepared and very tender. Great tastes as well. Great meal and I would recommend you include Tina's on your agenda should you visit the area. One note, if you make a reservation I would request seating in the front room of the facility to avoid the noise of the larger tables and the bar / kitchen.
