“Great if you like humiliation and arrogance.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 26, 2012

We made our reservation a month in advance and informed them of my wife's lactose intolerance. They said that it would be no problem. When we sat down, our server was pretty much indifferent to her situation. There is an open kitchen. Whenever the server would go back to discuss my wife's needs vis-a-vis a certain menu item the chef would roll his eyes and act like he couldn't be bothered. The sommelier was very nice and tried to compensate. Sadly, it didn't work. My wife left angry and humiliated. We have dined at nice restaurants all over the world and have never had a worse experience. There are great restaurants in the valley (Joel Palmer House, Painted Lady, Jory, etc) Go there if you want a great meal without all the attitude.

“Exceptional Dining”

Ambiance, service, spectacular dishes along with an incredible wine list - what else can I say. Had the best oysters I've ever had there!

“Nice dinner out”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 18, 2012

We had heard conflicting opinions about the restaurant but wanted to give the "new" place a try. Dinner was excellent (sweetbreads special was so yummy) albeit it a bit rushed in places. We always tell our server we are not in a hurry but here sometimes it felt like you were eating on their schedule, not yours. I didn't love the atmosphere, although they are trying for a trendy, industrial look it seems. Too loud and too bright. Lastly, would have to agree with other reviewers that the restaurant does not deliver value for your investment. Should we visit this area again, we may try Paulee again but it won't be tops on our list (see Painted Lady reviews).

“Best Restaurant in Dundee”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 18, 2012

Hand's down the best restaurant in the Willamette Valley. It is restaurant perfection, from the service, to the design, and most importantly to the food. It was quite hard to choose from the menu, as it all looked so good. Great wine list. Superb dining experience.

“Best Dinner I have had for years!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2012

The combination of tastes were remarkable. We ordered several different small plates and shared them all. We sampled at least seven different taste sensations, and not one disappointed. The atmosphere was great, didn't feel like you had to whisper, just got to sit back and enjoy the wine, company and food. THere are many choices on the menu and we had our waiter choose all the dishes for us. We were there on a Sunday night at 8:00. The front had several tables filled and the back had a couple of people at the bar and a couple of tables filled. By the time we were half way through there were only a couple of tables but no one rushed us. I look forward to going again. Hope they put the fried green tomato on the menu...who knew it could be so tasty.
