Bob welcomed us with a smile that set the tone for our visit. We stayed in The Pacific Room and the view of the ocean from our bed was phenomenal. The sight and sound of the ocean from our open window lulled us to sleep and awakened us, refreshed, in the morning. The bed was so comfortable and our room was neat and clean. Fresh cookies and your choice of wine were there for your enjoyment in the evening and walking the beach with wine in hand was such a pleasant experience! The breakfast fare was superb and served efficiently yet with personal touches. We highly recommend this B&B and we must admit to being a little sad that we couldn't stay!

I am going to be straight to the point. This is the best bed and breakfast I have visited so far. The house is SPOTLESSLY clean, quiet and beautiful. I have stayed in just about every room and had a great experience in each. Bob is a wonderful host and a great cook, I looked forward to eating his breakfast more than I did to our dinner reservations. Every visit has been perfect.

Room Tip: If you want privacy, Innkeepers Room is perfect. Honestly, all rooms are great.

If you are looking for a relaxing, comfortable, amazing get away, this is it! Our hosts made us feel right at home as soon as we walked through the door. The whole house was very clean and cozy and our bedroom had a romantic yet comfortable feel. The breakfasts were amazing, the "fair game" snack bar, complimentary wine and DVD library were all special treats. The beautiful Oregon Coast right outside your door, watching the sunset in the hot tub or just enjoying the amazing company... whats not to love? We will be back for sure!

Room Tip: The Tuscan Suite doesn't has much of a view but it has a fire place and a cozy nook for a night...

Little did we know that when we made the reservations over 4 months ago that it might be a trip with bitter sweet notes. Life decided to change 2 weeks before this trip as we will be heading back to Tucson leaving Bend and 5 years of friends and great travel. Celebrating our 33 wedding anniversary and spending time with the friends we love most, Bruce and Kathy took us on a journey that began the minute we walked through the door. With a warm greeting from Bob, our host, we took a tour of the home taking in the details that each room offered. We were also greeted with the smell of warm oatmeal cookies fresh from the oven and by chance it was happy hour - so glasses of wine were also poured. We gazed at the ocean from the large living room windows and knew immediately that this felt like home. We stayed in the Tuscan Room which is cozy and quiet - comfortable beds, great towels, robes and slippers.
As early risers we were pleased to find fresh hot coffee waiting with the paper, music and Bob in the kitchen. Great conversation, stories and new friends around the breakfast table. We were there for the Newport Wine and Seafood Festival, but I've got to say that spending 3 days at Pana Sea Ah was the best part of the trip. While we didn't need dinner reservations they did offer and when we were looking for something to do Saturday afternoon, Bob was quick with suggestions. He introduced to his new on-site manager John, who fits in beautifully and will be a welcome addition to the staff.
Kudos to Bob, Mary and John - We loved this trip.

We had another amazing weekend at Pana Sea Ah B&B. We're always greeted with home made cookies, a glass of wine and a smile. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully arranged. Bob the owner made great dinner recommendations and followed up by making our dinner reservations.
The weather was amazing. We walked along the beach in sleeveless tops on Friday and was surprised by a winter storm on Saturday. The beach is always beautiful and fun to explore.

Room Tip: We love the Pacific room and the garden room, but Our adult kids like the more contemporary Innkeepe...

Pana-Sea-Ah lives up to its namesake “ Panacea”- a cure for all ills.

The house is beautiful and was built to be a bed and breakfast with lots of privacy and fabulous views. The owner, Bob, is friendly, helpful (need help with your bags, need a reservation?) and a good cook. The house is a short walkaway to the beach and you can open your windows and fall asleep to the sound of the surf.

Beds are extremely comfortable, the towels are thick and everything has been taken care of for you. Just relax and enjoy. The house has a deck with a wonderful hot tub. On a clear night you can watch the surf and see the stars from the tub.

Breakfast is yummy (see pics) and served in the dining area with a great ocean view. Like many good B & Bs coffee, etc. available in the morning and wine in the evening. Pana-Sea-Ah adds to this with fabulously delicious cookies available at all hours.

Another plus is the location. Lincoln City and Newport can be jammed during the high season and Lincoln Beach/Depoe Bay is right in between the two. So you’re close to both, but don’t have to deal with the congestion.

Room Tip: The Garden Room is upstairs with great views and a king bed. The Pacific room has a smaller bed...

We stayed at the Pana-Sea-Ah during the week while our home was being remodeled, and from the moment we stepped inside, it was clear that every rave review is accurate. Bob does a fantastic job at maintaining a beautiful B&B of cleanliness and peace. We slept wonderfully on the cozy bed, warmed by our room's gas fireplace. Bob's gourmet fruit-centric breakfasts sustained us all day, and thanks to the reliable wifi, I was able to work remotely from the couch in the common room while watching the waves roll in.

Our room was nicely decorated and full of thoughtful touches that completed the experience: luxurious towels and plenty of bathroom supplies, mini-fridge and microwave, wine glasses... we felt completely relaxed. It's clear that Bob and Mary are very conscientious and take pride in the inn they've built. We look forward to a return visit!
