This was not our first time here. We have now stayed in 5 of the rooms. Always clean room and everything needed for perfect stay. Manager was nice enough to let us peek into some of the rooms we hadn't stayed in before. They were very nice and would be great. I don't think they have a bad room. Room #2 wouldn't be a choice for us because there is no view of the bay. They had nice selection of DVD movies that were free for guests. I thought that was a nice touch. Nice people doing a good job running this Inn.

Room Tip: Room #2 has no view. I like the view from upstairs.

This was a fantastic find! We were looking for place to crash on a low budget and actually stumbled across the Inn at arch rock because they had a room that was less expensive than all of the chain motels in the area. Of course the room we took was the only one without an ocean view, but the stay was well worth what we paid. Since we didn't have an ocean view we enjoyed our delicious continental breakfast from the common area with its ocean view. We only had time to stay one night, but would have loved to stay much longer if we could. I definitely plan on returning soon and hopefully staying for a real vacation.

This small establishment offers what have to be some of THE best rooms with a view. The folks at the front desk are helpful and willing to help if you have problems. The rooms have binoculars, which pretty much says it all about the views! Our room was very romantic and we really enjoyed it and we will be back.

Room Tip: They all have incredible views of the bay.

We love staying here every summer. You can not beat the prices, location, and the greatest view. The entire staff is the friendliest and the managers are the best--enjoy visiting with them. We always book a year in advance.

This Inn was amazing. The views are perfect. The staff are welcoming and responsive. Our room was a two bedroom suite with an additional room that connected. Everything was clean and comfortable. We will definatley use this place again!

Room Tip: We loved our room because we were traveling with my 90 year old mom and she couldn't do steps. B...

We are Oregonians from the Willamette valley who wanted to treat friends from the East coast visiting Oregon for the first time to a night on the Oregon coast. I wanted to try someplace new that we had never stayed either. Depoe Bay seemed a good location and size - small yet with services and restaurants etc. Thanks entirely to tripadvisor reviews, I chose the Inn at Arch Rock. It was the prefect choice for what we were looking for: casual, unpretentious, yet warm and inviting with "seaside bungalow" charm on a bluff directly overlooking the ocean.

You can look at all the rooms on their website. Our friends had unit # 4 and loved it, very spacious with a fireplace. We brought the dog and had one of the 3 pet-friendly units, # 8. We were happy with it. So was the dog. On arrival to your room, you discover a decanter welcoming you with a glass of sherry and a pet basket with treats for the dog.

We did not want to leave and since we had kitchenettes we decided not to go out to dinner and just cook and dine there -- a bottle of wine and such views! It was so relaxing and a pleasant and memorable occasion, very homey.

The continental breakfast in the lobby is superior to many other places and generous.
The rooms were very clean. I would only comment that the mattress in unit # 8 did sag in the middle, not so firm. I have had better beds elsewhere but this was only minor and would not affect my giving the Inn at Arch Rock an excellent rating. We hope to return.

Room Tip: Look at the rooms on their website and then call them if you wish to know more. Talking to Angie and...

What a fabulous time my wife and I had to celebrate her Birthday! We stayed in the Penthouse at the Inn, which was beautiful. Very open and airy feeling, with great windows overlooking the ocean. High vaulted ceilings, a gas fireplace, and a full kitchen, which we used the first night.

Continental breakfast was OK. Perfect if you are not a big breakfast fan.

We were there the last day they had their private beach area open. Waves were getting dangerous apparently, so they pull up the ladder. I wish I had been here when it was warmer, as I could really have enjoyed lounging (and napping) on a private beach where no one else was. That will have to be the next trip, and we will be back!

The Penthouse has two separate rooms, roll-away, and pull-out bed in the couch. It sleeps 8 or more, and would be perfect for a couple of families to stay together. One full bathroom (shared), and one bathroom inside one of the bedrooms. The other bedroom is just by itself. Again, the view is spectacular! We looked for whales, but they were traveling light this time of year. The bench area for reading by the glass windows was very nice. They also had a fire pit which was used one night.

I highly recommend eating at the Sea Hag in Depoe Bay. Not a fancy restaurant, but 5-star food. Shopping is fun in all the small shops, but we spent most of the time relaxing, and eating.

Hope you get a chance to check this out, you will really enjoy it!

Room Tip: Penthouse was great, but all rooms have great views and are cheaper if it is just two of you.
