We only had a very limited time to spend in the area, so we went straight for the best. We were not disappointed. The tasting was fantastic! $25 for a flight of 5 exceptional wines, hosted by some very knowledgeable staff. (The tasting charge is waived if you purchase more than $100 worth of wines.)
We started off with a rosé, which had a long and complex finish. Next, a French chardonnay, creamy and complex. Then came three Pinot Noirs, each better than the last. Come here, and you begin to understand what all the fuss is about Oregon Pinot Noir.
The wine here is not cheap, but then when did you ever come across a cheap bottle of Burgundy that was any good? Good and cheap are mutually exclusive when it comes to Pinot Noir....More
