“NO BIKERS!”
Reviewed October 6, 2012 via mobile

Three old guys on motorcycles, very tired in need of a bed.... Was met by a lady saying loudly we don't have any rooms for you...two cars in parking lot and the vacancy light on.... Hope you all do not stay here unless you hate bikers too, then you'll have lots in common with the owners....

Beautiful accommodations, BUT! Our group was really looking forward to staying here for one night as we passed through. Apparently we were welcome as long as we didn't have pets and didn't ride in on dirt bikes. Yes we were as puzzled until we checked in. Do not disregard the numerous signs of what you can and can't do in the room. You have to see it to appreciate it! Do not show up on a motorcycle; however, from reading the other reviews they have that covered... Do not speak to anyone across the street at the Crescent Motel (which will get the Police called on you). Actually that was entertaining, as they called instead of showing up and actually acknowledged the erratic behavior of the host. Bottom line, do yourself a favor and check out the Crescent Motel across the street. Remodeled rooms looked great and the owners were top notch!

My friend and I pulled in on motorcycles one night last week and a lady (I assume one of the owners) came out into the parking lot and told us their was no vacancy, even though the sign said vacancy and continued to say vacancy long after we left and there were only a couple of cars in the parking lot. A quick read of the reviews below show a clear pattern of refusing motorcycles.

We went across the street and stayed at the Crescent Motel, whose owners were friendly and accommodating on every level.

Room Tip: Go across the street to the Crescent Motel. It's not much to look at from the outside but the r...

Three of us on motorcycles pulled in looking for a room. The vacancy sign was on and the lot was almost empty. Before we had more than our helmets off, a woman came out of the office and rudely told us "we have nothing for you" and turned around slamming the door before we had a chance to say a word.

Why the managers of this establishment are so opposed to serving motorcycle riders I don't know. The no bikers sign may be gone, but the attitude remains.

If you're looking for a nice place within driving distance of Crater Lake, this may well be your best bet. Although it's at least a 45 minute drive, the rooms were clean with every amenity we could ask for, given the fairly remote location. The free continental breakfasts were minimal (juice, fresh fruit, granola bars), but there's a great funky long-time restaurant next door. In response to the reviews by Motor C, Max F and SpiralGray, there were two motorcycles there the two nights we stayed, and the owners were both friendly and gracious.

Room Tip: I think one room is as good as another. There is, however, no getting away from the railroad tracks...

I was traveling through and wanted to stay. Saw the "no bikers" sign. I went and spent my money somewhere else. What's next? no black people? No gays? I'm happy I didn't even make it far enough to ask about a room. I fear how the conversation may have gone

Room Tip: Go across the street to the crescent inn
