We stayed at the Cottage Grove Resort after a long day spent driving in the car from California. We were pleased to find a vacancy at the resort, and were even MORE pleased when we stumbled into our room. It was charming, wich a sort of shabby-chic decor, comlete with a fridge, TV, microwave, and patio. The beds were very comfortable, and had four pillows on them each and down comforters. Also, very nice, warm, smooth sheets! There was a fireplace, and as I mentioned before, a wonderful little patio where we could sit and watch the sunset. There were also plently of mirrors, and a nice bathroom. I'd say the rooms are larger than average. The garden was in full bloom when we visited, and it was fantastic to stroll through the grounds, and look at the beautiful flowers, and interesting benches and fountains. There was even a mini gong to hit! The pool was a nice area, and the jacuzzi was big and very warm. The free continental breakfast the next morning was very filling and had many excellent muffins, eggs, etc. This is a wonderful place to stay for a night or two, or even more, and it was with regret that we left in the morning.
