We were recommended by our hotel to Jack Sprats for vegan fare. They had a wonderful menu of alternative food for vegan, gluten free and more. We had great service. The prices were reasonable and the food was excellent.

We stopped in Cottage Grove to try the local BBQ restaurant. Walking up and down Main, hunger took over and a local walking by suggested Jack Sprats...and besides we were standing in front of it. I had a simple burger and the wife had the special which was two hot dogs smothered in peppers. The help was extremely friendly, but didn't know much about the local area. Nonetheless, we had a satisfying meal. Not sure if we would go back, especially if we could fine the BBQ.

Stopped here for lunch and glad we did. Charming little place in downtown Cottage Grove. Had "Perfect Flavor" burger which had a thick hamburger patty, bacon, onion rings, BBQ sauce, and Tillamook Cheddar Cheese. Wonderful. Also had great french fries with it. Would recommed!

We were traveling from TN and visited this restaurant--amazing food and great service ! The Thai curry with tofu was SO good!! The chai tea was superb too! Highly recommend this place! There is something on the menu for everyone- vegetarian, meat lovers, spicy and nonspicy, kids, you name it!

Arrived on a Sunday driving down from Vancouver BC in early February 2014 and it turned out the "higher end" restaurant was closed fortunately
we popped into Jack Sprats. The Hip type waitress suggested along with the other items that we try the french fries (chips) which she said were awesome and they were. Not big into french fries but they are excellent. Great place to visit in Oregon.
