PMK Corporation who owns this property should be ashamed. Our family stayed one night (Thank God it was only one night) in Corvallis for a volleyball tournament. We were late with our reservation and paid $120 for a one night stay at the Days Inn. The pictures on their website look good, but dont' be deceived. This place is run down and not well kept. I stay out of town on business 50-60 nights per year and this place was awful! Here are some details we noticed...
At check in, I was not greeted by a young man with neck tattoos and mumbled; no smile, no hello or how are you? Nothing. He just asked for the reservation name and my credit card.
When we first arrived in our room we found a candy wrapper on our bed
Cobwebs on the ceiling beam in the room
Bathroom sink was not operational
Bathroom door was all beat up - it needed to be repainted
Bathroom door knob dented
The walls in the room were dirty and needed to be repainted
Curtains did not pull on draw cord
The pipes rattled at night when other travels used the bathroom
The rooms are not insulated well. We heard snoring and drips from our neighbors.
The bathroom door did not have a lock
We noticed litter all around the grounds
I found Days Inn slogan "A Promise As Sure As the Sun" almost comical.
