“Good beer, mix on the food”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2012

We went here as a second choice because the wait at Block 15 was too long. The staff helping with the seating was a little curse, so I didn't feel real comfortable. But, we were hungry so we waited the few minutes for a table. The food was mixed and the menu descriptions did not line up with the food that came. For example, menu said pear slices, what came was apple. Menu said risotto, which is made from rice, they used barley. One of the salads was very dry making it tasteless except for the dried cherries, which were very nice. We also ordered a pretzel for the appetizer, which comes with a beer cheese sauce - the sauce too had little flavor. Overall, it was also pricey. Their soup was good, everything else was just okay or disappointing.

The service was fair. The best part of the meal was their beer.

“Okay brunch a bit pricey”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 8, 2012

The brunch was good but there was nothing simple on the menu you could get for a cheaper breakfast. It was all very over the top. A few more lowkey options would be nice. The bloody mary is very good and so is the yogurt parfait. The chicken and waffles are amazing but very heavy. Their "ketchup" which is bland tomato sauce and beer maple syrup is not so good.

“Sibling of Block 15”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 25, 2012

the 'fancy' side of Block 15...some different beer selections than the B15 side...much quieter than the parent...share the same kitchen and restrooms but the menu is different

“Second choice but very good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2012

We were on our way to the coast and usually eat at Block 15. It was closed for repairs, so a guy on the street recommended this place. it was very good. I had the smoked tri tip, and others had pulled pork and a burger. It was all good, but not as good as Block 15. Our server was delightful and we enjoyed the lunch.

“More a Pub, Less Restaurant”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2012

When looking for a beer this might be the place to go, but if looking for dinner there are better restaurants near. Saying that if you just want a sandwich they do make a good chees burger and fries.
