“Great hiking all year”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

Don't miss PA. Most of the roads and trails and well graded and suitable for walking on all year. You'll find trails of different lengths and difficulties accessible from several locations so you'll be able to explore different forest types at different times of the year. Whether you have 30 minutes or 6 hours, you'll find a trail to meet your needs. And many trails connect to MacDonald Forest. Hike or mtn bike on most trails. My dog loves swimming in Cronemiller Lake, though I'd not suggest for humans. The OSU Forestry Club has a great competition here in the spring.

“Hiking, Corvallis-style”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

This is a great place to hike, but be sure to take a map because the trails can be confusing. Easy to Moderate hiking difficulty. Nice scenery, wet or dry season.

“Submerge yourself in peaceful serenity and get a good workout too!”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

Miles of walking trails through the forest with varied old deciduous and conifer trees up and down the gentle hills and around ponds Striking views that made me stop many times to photograph. Huge ferns. Just beautiful!

“Lots of trails”
Reviewed May 16, 2013

Lots of trails, some marked with the names of trees. Careful, tho, I got lost in here once because a trail wasn't marked. Pay attention and you'll really enjoy the variety of trails from easy to moderate.

“Love going there”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

Not only can you take a great hike, a lot of the trees/foliage is labeled. Only downside is that there isn't a water feature while hiking. What a great experience!
