This is gorgeous waterfall located a short distance from the parking lot. Bring your camera and go for a stroll down a paved path to the falls. It really is worth the walk!

The Falls were as breathtaking as all the others on this Historic Route 30, but the restrooms left a lot to be desired. They had to be the smelliest restrooms I have encountered in my almost 80 years. There appeared to be no ventilation and the atmosphere was suffocating. They were "long drop" toilets, but we have used many similar ones throughout Oregon and indeed the United States. These were by far the worst. You could smell them from the parking lot.

This waterfall requires short walk down a paved pathway. The large waterfall as eaten a huge cavern out of the rock. The path downward offers several views of the falls and more is revealed as you descend. Part of the falls can be viewed from the roadway. Note the moss covered trees and walls along the way. Step down to the stream level and shoot low level pictures of the stream with the waterfall in the background. A great way to begin our trip down the Avenue of the Waterfalls.

This is an easy to access falls along the highway. We enjoyed the walk up and back. I have arthritis and I made it all the way to the falls. Bathrooms not very fun...no running water or plumbing.

This waterfall is one of the prettiest on the Historic part of the Columbia River Highway. You can see it from the highway and you can take a short hike to the top, or you can go see the basin of Latourell Falls by going to Guy Talbot State Park in the small city of Latourell. Although the city is small, you can walk up to the (left as you look at the covered picnic area that will hold a good size party) to reach the basin the easy way.

Beautiful scenery is the norm there.

There is room to splash in the small basin there.

Beside the covered picnic area there are picnic tables to sit at after a walk or hike.
