We were in town for one night and had decided to check out some drinking establishments within walking distance from our hotel. 7 Devils was on a list of places recommended by our hotel. We arrived early on Friday evening with the intention of having and beer and going elsewhere for dinner.
As it turned out the beer was very good, our bartender Michael was personable and fun to watch as the place became busier so we decided to stay for dinner.
Their menu is limited due to their commitment to source local and maintain quality. We shared an order of oysters as a starter and had the fried tuna as an entree. Both were delicious! The oysters were lightly bread and perfectly fried. The tuna was two large, thick pieces lightly beer battered. Fresh, local and yummy.
The staff work together well and are proud of the commitment to source locally and produce quality beer and food. If you are in Coos Bay we highly recommend you stop in for a beer...and maybe stay for a meal.
