“A missed opportunity”
Review of Coos Bay Boardwalk

Coos Bay Boardwalk
Reviewed May 28, 2013

The boardwalk is quite small and within walking distance of Coos Bay. They have used this space to display some historical facts and a boat. There are spaces for a few boats to dock, but nothing to keep anyone in that area unless they want to try the seafood restaurant. You have to go downtown for shopping and more restaurant choices. Seems like there may be a missed opportunity here right on the water which is the main attraction for visitors. Stop by and take a quick stroll, but meander down town for shopping. Awkward parking system. there may be a slight struggle between a working dock and tourist dock.

Nice walk after a long ride. Street parking in front of the boardwalk is reserved for RV's. Autos can park on the ends or side streets. If it's raining there is covered area to take shelter while you view the bay and watch the boats..

It's a nice walk around the waterfront, and across from downtown Coos Bay restaurants and shopping. Seafood shack on the pier serves good fish and chips.

Nice boardwalk, within walking distance of several good restaurants and downtown Coos Bay, there is a lot to see (including boats, if you like looking at them, as does my spouse).

Very nice clean and scenic boardwalk along Coos Bay. Has boat and historical displays. Even has a very nice fish & chips shop there.
