We had spent two nights in Coos Bay, and attened the Christmas Lights at Shore Acres, and were ready for a liesurely two hour car trip home.
After checking out of our motel, we wanted a sit down restaurant breakfast, and found the Kozy Kitchen.
It turned out to be a regular American style cafe, with friendly waitresses, and a full menu of cafe food. My wife had corned beef hash, hash brown potatoes, and sour dough wheat toast.
I had the "Big Mamma Platter", which was biscuits and sasuage gravy, sasuage patties, eggs on top, and hash brown potatoes.
Both entrees were the highest order of cafe/diner food.
The atmosphere was what you may expect, older decor, and booths that could use a bit of attention. The other diners, and there were many more almost all locals, who were greeted by name by the waitresses, and greeted by name by other diners.
We had exactly the breakfast we were looking for!
