“Warm, romantic, secluded, with home cooked meals!”

Staying at the Sand Lake Country Inn was quite the happy accident for my boyfriend and I. We were trying to camp but got rained out, so I made a reservation here. Diane welcomed us very warmly and settled us into our room, the Garden room. The king size bed was great and the jaccuzi tub is very nice too. We paid for dinner and it was delicious and a good price for two, but the 4 course breakfast ( included) is to die for!!! And the cookies!
Loved it so much we came back for another night two days later, but this time we stayed in the Starlight Suite. It's the whole upstairs! There's a double sided fire place and another jacuzzi tub. So cozy!
Lovely little hideaway near the beach! Thank you so much Diane!

We have made annual trips here for many years. ( Nine trips over eight years.) Always an extremely relaxing experience. Diane and Ron are always gracious hosts and make every stay as comfortable as the very first one, and the food is always delicious. Will continue to recommend them to others!

Room Tip: Have tried the Cottage and the Rose Room. Both are excellent.

This inn was one of our top 3 all time favorite - would definitely stay again. Diane thought of everything down to the smallest detail to make a stay here wonderful. This included beach towels in the closet and deck towels, various bubble baths, a small refrigerator, sterilized water bottles to use while there, a large CD library and DVD's as well if that is what you choose. - the bed was comfortable - slept great both nights - breakfasts were five star - you could tell that time and effort had been put into the breakfast - was great at accommodating a long list of food allergies. The rooms and inn are not fancy but alot of history and a warm friendly atmosphere dwell at this inn. Diane had the perfect balance of being friendly but allowing us to maintain our privacy. This is a gift that most people do not have. The place is quiet and conducive to relaxation and even though it rained the whole time we were there we still enjoyed ourselves. The grounds have lots of birds and flowers, very lovely. We had blooming wisteria hanging over our porch and birds visiting there as well. Ron's home roasted coffee was fantatstic. If you are looking for a quiet, private location with a little something special this is the place.

Room Tip: try the timber suite - lovely old ships timbers and nice porch outside with birds and hanging wister...

Have stayed here for several years in a row now and have always had a very peaceful relaxing experience. Diane and Ron are wonderfull host that respect your privacy, while making sure you have everything you need for a wonderfull say. Hot tubs are as large as small swimming pools with unlimited hot water. With the great breakfast and wonderful coffee delivered to your room each morning you cant ask for a better place.

We sepnt three very relaxing romantic and exciting days at The Sandlake Country Inn. Wow what an exsperience we shared. Diane and Ron were very attentive and taking care of our needs. Diane was a exceptional cook and it was very tasteful and we enjoyed each and every breakfast. The surrounding attractions far exceeded our expectations, AND THOSE COOKIES were the BOMB. Truly the Timberlake Room was our first true B&B ever,at the Sandlake Country Inn and given the opportunity we will be returning next year. We found our home away from home.
Frank and Alicia

Room Tip: The Timberlake Room is very nice

My husband and I came upon this place last year when we were on our Honeymoon. It is amazing how little touches make the most rememberable place in our lives. Ron and Diane made us feel right at home. The uniqueness of the rooms available all the way to their heart shaped beakfast bowls. We plan on coming back every year around our anniversary. We went this year as well. It is close to many beaches and they give great recomendations to find the ones you are looking for. My husband and I had a picnic on the beach and it was pretty much private. Thanks to their recommendation. We will continue to frequent the Sandlake Country Inn in the future as it is one of our favorite places ever. Highly recommended by both myself and my husband. Ron and Diane are attentive hosts and very accomodating. Do yourself a favor and take the time to visit them...

We stayed here for our 25 year anniversary on the beautiful oregon coast. truly one of the best places to kiss in the northwest! Our hostess was wonderful making sure all of our needs were met. The rose room was qute & cozy. Breakfast was Awsome! We definitley look forward to staying again!

Room Tip: Rose room was qute but had a small jetted tub, would probably choose a different room next time.
