Description: This awesome, little Mexican restaurant is owned and operated by the nicest couple, Rigoberto and Marina as well as additional family working with them due to their popularity with locals and travelers alike. Their food is absolutely delicious and very authentic! The ingredients are always fresh, the dishes are served piping hot and the portions are HUGE! We try to go in at least once a week to support this wonderful family and their restaurant. They are always so pleased to see you and so appreciative of your business. Just a brightly painted little building on the east side of the highway but well worth your stop when traveling through! You will not be disappointed!

“Just simply the best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 9, 2012

I try to go to mexican restaurants in every town I pass by in an effort to find my personal best. Well, I found it. On our way to Crater Lake it was just before noon so just had to try it. When we went a lot of locals were there watching football (soccer) drinking beers so I jut knew it was going to be good. Indeed not only way the food the best the service was just great. Highly recommeded!

Simple place with very good food and fast service. There aren't a lot of choices around, but this one was good.

“ok food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2012

Food was ok. The price was very affordable. Be sure to check their operation hours before you go because it could change from day to day. I guess it was mom and pop business so if the business was slow that the owner might decide to close earlier than the door sign said.

“Not bad for the area”

This place looks like a dump from outside, but is surprisingly clean inside. Huge menu - I recommend the shrimp platters. Carnitas was dry. Very slow service.

“a welcome oasis”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2012

There aren't many dining opportunities in this part of Oregon. We went to El Rodeo on the recommendation of a local and were pleasantly surprised. I had fish fajitas -- the red snapper was fresh and moist, the vegetables nicely charred and tasty, and the portion was HUGE. My husband was similarly pleased with his chicken fajitas. The food tasted personal and homemade, in contrast to the Sysco-type Mexican often encountered on road trips in remote areas. The restaurant is family run and service was very warm and accommodating. Beer, wine, and good (again, HUGE) margaritas! We went on a Monday night, but the place was pleasantly busy.
