“Great, but......”
Reviewed August 25, 2014

there were three of us dined at High Tide on a Thursday evening, not very busy.
first issue was it took for ever to get our meal, others who came after us were getting their dinners first.. Second, one of us had fabulous meal - salmon topped with crab - everything about it was wonderful - fresh vegis, tasty sauce -- but my meal of tuna was so dry I returned it. Second round was better but still over cooked for quality tuna. Third, my husband's meal was horrible - he ordered Cioppino. He received clam chowder (which was very good) to start but when Cioppino came was very disappointed, no crab, no side vegis (they forgot his side order of French fries), and very small clams. Very basic tomato/seafood soup for $26. Totally overpriced.
Bottomline, I would possibly give them one more try but be very cautious of what I order.

“Some good, some not so good”
Reviewed August 21, 2014

This restaurant came highly recommmended for it's seafood. I ordered the crab cakes and while they were ALL crab with no fillers, they were overcooked. The prices were not bad. When we were visited there was a live band for the local seafood festival, which was a nice treat, and the music was wonderful. There was a good selection of wine and beer, with both indoor and outdoor seating. A bit of a drive to get to this little restaurant from Highway 101 though.

“Breakfast On Any Morning”
Reviewed August 19, 2014

We get to the restraunt at around 11 AM to get a seat on the outdoor patio. Nice view of the Bay and wildlife. My wife loves the fish tacos and I love the Denver Omlette. Price is a bit high but the food is good and the service is good. Do not come here if you are pressed for time .It does take awhile but with this view who cares?

“nice view of the water”
Reviewed July 26, 2014

View was nice, but the food was average. Price is around $14 per main dish.
We sat outside. Nice view of the water, but the umbrella at my table was broken so there was no shade.

“Used to be good”
Reviewed July 13, 2014 via mobile

Come here every year when we come home on holiday. Good chowder. But last 2 times the service is slow and crab cakes are not good at all. Probably should step up their game considering this is a seafood community. Still in search of goood crab cakes local.
