Though its a block or two from north end of downtown, it beats going to Bill's Tavern and being treated like dirt by the waitress from hell. Lumberyard is your place to go especially to watch sports on TV while you eat. Service was fantastic.

We have visited the Lumberyard several times now, and always enjoyed our meals, and the cozy rustic atmosphere. Sadly a recent visit left a poor taste in our mouths and I don't believe we will return. It was a rainy Saturday and not very crowded. We both ordered salads, which is our normal fare, my husband ordered the seafood salad which he has had and enjoyed previously. Beware the menu just says market price, which the day we visited was $21.00, for a salad.... Mind you we understand what market price means, but it would seem a common courtesy for the staff to let you know when that price is nearly double what any other salad on the menu costs. To make matters worse the salad itself was not good, the artichoke hearts overwhelmed the crab. My husband took about 4 bites, and was finished. The waitress didn't inquire about the food,or why he had eaten so little, so we simply paid or bill and left. Guess we will need to find a new lunch spot in Cannon Beach.

Great fish and chips, full bar, reasonable prices. Kid friendly. It is closed on Monday and Tuesday as are many places in town in the colder seasons.

Enjoyed salad, chowder, fish tacos and mac 'n cheese on a very wet Saturday afternoon. Service was good. Food was good. Surroundings were pleasant and comfortable. Solid dining choice - nothing fancy or extraordinary but absolutely worth a visit.

Great food and service. Fantastic outside eating area, with picket fence around the front of restaurant. Gives a feeling of sidewalk seating. However the locals bring their dogs into this area while having lunch there. So if you don't like eating with dog sounds and hair floating everywhere-beware. Others were nice enough to put dog leashes on fence with dogs outside of the fence.

Thank you for reviewing us. I sure miss our beautiful summer weather, no seating outside in the rain. Best Regards, Vicki Clarke
