In other decades we came often. We liked it a lot. Tonight there were issues. Salads had the right ingredients but not well assembled. Mine tasted good but wife was not so sure about hers. I had oyster stew and it was unlike any I have had before but not in a good way. The giant oysters tasted ok but were not what I would have expected. The broth had red something shaken across it. Maybe it was paprika, not likely cayenne though spicy. Razor clams looked good but were pretty tough. Vegetables difficult to chew. In fairness to kitchen, July 6 was a very busy Saturday night. They might have had trouble keeping up. Our waitress did a good job. She remained pleasant though we took a long time to make a decision. Busboys didn't do as well. When we arrived we faced a sign telling us to wait to be seated. There was no hostess. A dozen people gave up. Wine was not very good at all, particularly at $7 per glass each of which probably bought the box. Dessert looked good but didn't try.
