I love this restaurant. It's more expensive than most in Cannon Beach, but wonderful cuisine beautifully presented, and if you score one of the window tables, you can look right out over the ocean as you dine. Save it for that last night, if you need to! It's worth it.

Fancy restaurant that served our Halibut and chips dinner in a plastic basket! Disappointing.
We could have gone to Mo's waterfront restaurant for half the price! I must say our friends had one of their finest dinners here in Aug 2012 including a $95 bottle of wine they said was to die for. Hummmm we need to go for a special night out, I'm thinking!

On every trip to Cannon Beach, we make dinner at Wayfarer's a priority and have eaten there at least 8 times. We were married in Cannon Beach and this September was our 10th anniversary. I made an online reservation and requested a window booth. On our Monday evening arrival we were seated at a raised booth at the back of the restaurant that turned out to be OK, though not a window booth. Our food came very quickly and actually quicker than what we would have preferred as we were having a beverage. As always we had razor clams and saved room for dessert. The server who was unattentive, brought our dessert and said he had just found out that it was a special occasion for us. The dessert was served on "Happy Anniversary" plates.
We were again there in October with another couple and again the food came so quickly, our friends actually looked at us in disbelief. We felt they were trying to get us in and out as quickly as possible, and again this was on a week night
We will return but the food and service does not seem to be as good as we remembered in the past. There is room for improvement folks!

A tad expensive, but highly recommended by locals, delicious clam chowder, and a beautiful view of the ocean, beach and rocks

While so many places are serving "foodie" food, this restaurant has a bit of all, including comfort food which is what we were looking for. The clam chowder is the best I've tasted. I shared an order of the french toast with hazel nuts and marionberry butter -- incredible! Everyone (5 of us) thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered.
